What or who is We-Vibe?

We-Vibe is the company that is mostly known for their couples vibrators, like the We-Vibe Sync. But on top of that, they make great cock rings, like the Pivot,  and clitoris toys like the Gala and the Wish. All of these toys are of the highest quality. So as soon as I found that We-Vibe was launching a new prostate vibrator, I immediately wanted to try it.

You see, We-Vibe considers the anatomy of the user very carefully. They understand like no one else that each body is different. Their We-Vibe Nova for instance, is the only rabbit that has a unique design to fit any ‘clitoris-vagina combination’. And the We-Vibe Sync was the first adjustable couples vibrator. Sometimes their design is bold and daring, but always effective, like the We-Vibe Rave.

On top of that, almost all We-Vibe toys can be operated with the We-Vibe Connect app on your smartphone. Now that does have its pros and cons, but in any case it means that your device can be operated by someone else, no matter where in the world that person is. Yeah, I know! You see opportunities too, don’t you?

What is a We-Vibe Vector?

‘Nough said about the brand. Let’s talk about the We-Vibe Vector; a prostate (P-spot) vibrator with two powerful motors and an adjustable ‘arm’. As you may know, the prostate is for a man, what the G-spot is for a woman. Stimulating the P-spot can bring a man to great heights. On top of that, regular stimulation of the prostate is very healthy.

They now repeat what they did with the We-Vibe Sync, on the Vector: you can adjust the little ‘arm’ of the Vector a little. With a little experimenting, you can bend it just the way that it fits you best.

The place and size of the prostate differs from man to man. The part of the Vector that goes inside you, can be adjusted and the part that touches the perineum is flexible. The idea is that this way, every man can enjoy a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Specs & functions

The We-Vibe Vector is covered in soft body safe silicone and has two powerful motors: one in the prostate vibrator and one in the base for the perineum.

The two motors (one in the base and one in the arm) can be operated with a small button on the Vector itself. With each push of the button, you scroll through the 10 different patterns. Or you can use the wireless controller that is included. Then you can even adjust the ‘volume’ of each pattern and you can easily scroll back and forth through the different patterns. Or you can use the We-Vibe Connect app. With this you can even create your own vibration patterns. I’ll discuss that later.

The insert depth is 9 centimeter and at the biggest girth the We-Vibe Vector is just under 3 centimeters. This makes it very well fit for beginners but also for advanced users.

The charging cable that is included is magnetic and let’s you charge the Vector very easily.

Unboxing

You know, sometimes opening a box just makes you happy. And that is definitely the case with the We-Vibe Vector. They thought about everything and it all looks very well cared for and professional.

Besides the Vector, the box contains a charging cable of about 90 centimeters. Finally a brand that understands that a 10 centimeter cable just doesn’t do it! Then there is a storage bag included, that is big enough to also carry the manual booklet. See, they get it! The manual contains very clear graphics and even the booklet with all the required warnings is in many different languages. Oh, and then there is that sample of personal water based lube of my favorite brand: Pjur.

Really, this is a brand that clearly thinks about the user experience. Many other brands can learn from this.

The ‘test drive’

But, as they say: “The proof of the pudding is in the eating”. Does the We-Vibe Vector does what you expect it to do?

Well, I can be very short about that: HELL YEAH!

It is almost surprising how deep and rumbly the vibrations are. The sample of Pjur lube is sufficient to insert the Vector the first time. Then it is quite easy to find the on/off button. And – oh man – those vibrations are intens! Operating it with the wireless remote is perfect. I just love it when I can switch patterns easily and not have to go through the entire cycle when I accidentally pushed once too often (“oh, that last setting was just a bit better”). Kudoos for making it possible to increase and decrease the intensity of each pattern. Even the lowest intensity is nice!

The We-Vibe Vector stays in place after inserting it. That way, you can enjoy this toy ‘hands free’. And with ‘hands free’ I mean that you can try to orgasm without any further stimulation – besides perhaps a little porn.

But now the adjustment. Don’t get me wrong, it works great. You can bend the head, so you can mend the intensity of the vibrations against the prostate it to your own liking. Just don’t do it during play. Getting it out … bend it … inserting it again.. with your hands full of lube. I mean, you can, but it’s just so much hassle. I recommend that you determine the angle on a hunch and then after your finished (and cleaned it) adjust the position a little for the next time.

We-Vibe Connect App

If you want to use the app, you first have to – duh! – download it from the app store. Then you have to push the button on the We Vibe Vector for about 5 seconds. After that, you can ‘pair’ your device with your smartphone. If that has succeeded, you can operate your Vector from your phone.

Using the app has its pros and cons. The main advantage is that you have more possibilities. You can create your own patterns, for example. And you can operate the motors independently. And by moving your finger across the screen you can adjust speed and patterns. How cool is that?

It gets even better when you let someone else in control of your device. You can invite someone to operate your toy. Of course, that person must have the app. But it doesn’t matter where that person is. Do you have a friend on the other side of the world? Let that person surprise you. Or are you doing groceries while your partner is at home? Or are you going on a night out? Well, you get it, right? The app on your phone must be connected with your device, and your phone must be connected through the internet via 3G/4G or WiFi with the phone of your partner. That’s it.

Personally I don’t like it when my partner is all focused on her phone. I’d rather have true contact when we are having sex. And if you operate your We-Vibe Connect app yourself, make sure you have a towel at hand to wipe your hands. Otherwise your screen will get dirty with lube ad such.

Cleaning

Have I told you that the We-Vibe Vector is fully waterproof? I guess I haven’t, but it is.That means you can take it with you under the shower or in the bathtub. But it also means that you can just hold it under running water to clean it. Super easy.

Conclusion

I guess it’s pretty clear, right? I am super enthusiastic. The We-Vibe Vector ticks every box. Easy to insert? Check. Deep rumbly vibrations? Check. Simple operation? Check. Hands free? Check. Complete? Check. For everybody? Check.
