Role playing can brake the routine in the bedroom like noting else. It is exciting to act like you are a (fictional) character. Place yourself in a completely new setting and go for it. For example, by playing two people who’ve never seen each other before.
What makes it exciting?
Have you seen that episode ‘Striking Vipers’ of Black Mirror? That episode starts with a scene where the two main players meet in a bar. The man is trying to hit on the woman, but soon the viewer finds out they are a couple already.
This theme – man and women pretend not to know each other – is one that occurs more often in movies and series. Even in comical series like Modern Family.
By playing you don’t know each other, you can bring back the tension of the first time you met. You have to do your best all over again to hit on and conquer your partner. You must give your own partner complete attention again. It will feel great to be desired and wanted all over again.
Tips for an exciting role playing game
First, you have to think of a good location. Will you two meet in a bar and will one take the other home afterwards? Or will you book a hotelroom and will you two meet in the hotel lobby? Or is there a place where you two have met and that is special to you? A book club perhaps? A conference? An event for singles? A museum? Perhaps you might also want to think about logistics beforehand. Will you two travel on your own to this location?
Then there is the meeting itself. Don’t over complicate things. Just be yourself. Don’t try talking with a strange accent and don’t make up some new profession. The general idea is that you two have a renewed meeting.
But, don’t make it too easy either. Don’t go straight at each other. Consider taking place at the other side of the bar and first make eye contact. Let your partner work for you. Make a move. Flirt.
Consider to involve others in your role playing. Talk to other people. Involve others in your conversation. That will make it easier to stay in your role and to play along. Who knows you might learn something new?
