What are door cuffs?
Door cuffs – or door post cuffs – are sex toys that turn any door in your home into a bondage spot. The cuffs are very easy to use. These types of cuffs need to be put over the door and are then held in place by closing the door. Most door cuffs are designed to hold a person’s wrists or ankles. However, there are some that are shaped more like a sex swing.

Although doorpost cuffs are not strong enough for suspension bondage, they are strong enough for regular bondage play.
The main advantage of door cuffs is, they do not require permanent installation. You don’t need to screw bolts into the wall or ceiling. This makes door cuffs ideal for renters, people looking for a portable bondage toy for travel and sleepovers, and anyone who is into BDSM in a discreet way.

Simple door cuffs – for example, as shown here – can be purchased for less than €40. Some of the sets can be expanded later with other wrist or ankle cuffs. If you plan to do so, pay attention to the way the cuffs are attached to the straps. In other words, are the cuffs detachable as well?
