Sometimes you suddenly stumble upon a strange account on Pornhub. And no, this time I’m not talking about kinky sex videos. In fact, a math teacher has generated millions of views on Pornhub with his videos in which he teaches math. And no, there’s no sex games, roleplay, or “internet rule-34” involved.
Changhsu, whose real name is Shun-Wei Chang, is a math tutor from Taiwan who went viral by posting his lessons on Pornhub. And no, he doesn’t do that naked, but dressed in a hoodie and wearing glasses. He explains mathematical problems seriously. And he doesn’t use sex toys to do so, but a crayon and a blackboard.
Meanwhile, 34-year-old Changhsu already has more than 7,200 subscribers on his Pornhub account. His channel features a banner with the slogan “Play Hard Study Hard!” There are hundreds of videos on his channel in which he teaches math. In total, his videos have been viewed over 2 million times.
The lessons are in Taiwanese and are not subtitled. But if you run the titles of his videos through Google Translate, it is noticeable that they often include porn-related terms such as “naked,” “giant breasts,” “masturbation,” “threesome,” and “oral sex,” to ensure that his videos would show up in search terms. Although he has been posting videos on Pornhub for over a year, he did not really go viral until Taiwan News reported on it.
Some people think it’s a clever marketing strategy, but in reality he posted the videos out of sheer desperation when he was going through a personal crisis. After all, he had a lucrative business in which he tutored students. But one of his employees went into business for himself and took some of his students with him. As a result, he suddenly found himself with no income and a hefty debt that forced him to close his school. He even considered committing suicide. Instead, he decided to teach online. But it was difficult to set up his own website because he still had such a large debt. Meanwhile, he was recording dozens of videos a day (this also explains why he wears the same gray hoodie every time). So he decided to sell them in a different way: via Pornhub.
Through Pornhub, Chang thinks he has found a channel that many Taiwanese students already visit daily. And because of the amount of viewers, he has earned enough to pay off his debts. Nevertheless, he no longer posts new videos on Pornhub. Soon he will start his own website.
