Portuguese artist Yssa creates illustrations consisting exclusively of lines. With the line drawings, she manages to depict sexual expressions perfectly. She does compare her work to a coloring book. “I draw. You colourise,” it says on her Instagram.
She got the idea while standing in an airport looking at “adult coloring books. ‘How are mandalas and flowers subjects for adults,’ she wondered. She has been posting her work on Instagram ever since, but a real coloring book is still on her wish list.
