The erotic art of Pierangelo Boog

Pierangelo Boog is an illustrator from Switzerland, who creates beautiful Pinup Art and illustrations in other styles. He mainly creates characters and portraits in an impressive range of techniques, both traditional and digital.

Boog graduated from the Art and Design School of Zurich and earned a degree as a scientific illustrator. His work includes pencil drawings, oil paintings, digital paintings created in ArtRage, and other techniques such as watercolour and ink. Besides sensual PinUps, he also draws male nudes, sometimes in a fine old-school style. Some of the artworks are decorated with beautiful natural elements, such as plants and wildlife.

As a freelance artist these days, Boog often takes commissions for the advertising industry. But he was also interested in science fiction themes. The Swiss Post has already issued 10 stamps with his motifs.

Angelo has mastered both human and animal anatomy, colour palettes and the use of lighting at a level few can. As the artist quotes, “As few words as possible to give art room to breathe.”
