American artist Jeff Faerber grew up in San Jose, California, and studied art at San Jose State University and the School of Visual Arts in New York. Since graduation, he has lived in Brooklyn, in a studio and apartment he shares with his partner and cats. His paintings have been regularly featured in exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad.
Faerber has been named one of the ten greatest American erotic artists by Dazed Magazine.
Jeff Faerber’s Web site contains examples of his work including New York City scenes, portraits and a highly original Tarot series. His erotic Shunga series is inspired by traditional Japanese woodcuts but includes contemporary references.
