Until 2014, when he already had a few hundred thousand followers, he had managed to remain anonymous. Then an article about him appeared in a New York magazine. Since then, his work has been shown in New York galleria. Yet his face and his true identity remain a great mystery. His name – Alphachanneling – refers to the transparency setting in photoshop (an alpha channel mask).

Until then, many people thought the artist was a woman. Maybe that was due to the use of color, or the focus on female sexual pleasure.
