A while ago I published a list of the 11 best sex toys for persons with a vulva. Fortunately, more and more persons with a penis are also using a sex toy to increase the pleasure of sex. Many toys for persons with a penis are built like a tube that has a fake pussy/mouth/butt inside. Fun Factory has managed to create a penis toy that looks like a vibrator. This makes it easy to use, fits comfortably in your hand and looks much less threatening.

The Manta is a kind of rod vibrator with a C-shaped end. Because the material is flexible, those wings fit around the penis in all sorts of ways. Furthermore, that C is ribbed, which makes it extra stimulating and will hold the lubricant longer. By the way, Fun Factory recommends water-based lubricant (not included).

Arcwave masturbators are made of silicone, which is unique. Most masturbators are made of the soft and flexible TPE. However, this material has the major disadvantage of being porous and not lasting as long. Silicone is not porous and wears out much less than TPE. This makes it safer, more hygienic and more durable.

Best disposable masturbator: Tenga Egg

There are literally dozens of types of Tenga Eggs, differing from each other at most by the structure on the inside. A Tenga Egg is best described as a kind of hollow “surprise egg” made of soft flexible and stretchy TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). This is a safe type of rubber, containing no plasticizers. Best ‘stroker’: Hot Octopus Pulse

When I first used the Hot Octopus Pulse myself, I found that it was impossible NOT to cum with this thing.

Hot Octopuss itself does not call it a masturbator but a Guybrator. And that may be a better word to indicate that it is a sex toy for people with a penis.

What makes this toy unique is its patented “PulsePlate Technology. Basically, you have to put the Pulse around your penis – it doesn’t even necessarily have to be hard to do so – and then the round plate will vibrate against the frenulum. It is not necessary to move the Pulse. Even the vibrations alone will make you orgasm within a few minutes.

But of course, you can also just add a big blob of lube (water-based) to it, to move the thing back and forth nicely and feel the vibrations all along the shaft. The choice is yours.

Best ‘open ended’ masturbator: Arcwave Voy

The Arcwave Voy is a masturbation “sleeve”; that is, a sleeve that you move up and down over the penis to massage the penis. But in doing so, I am selling the Arcwave Voy short. Because secretly this masturbator is very innovative in parts. For example, the diameter can be made tighter in eight steps, allowing you to tighten it as much as you like. And the sleeve is made of silicone, which is quite an advantage over competitors whose sleeves are usually made of TPE.

Because the Arcwave Voy is so compact, you can insert your penis all the way through it. Your glans will then come out the other side. And that’s exactly what makes this kind of compact masturbator so much fun: in fact, you can then stimulate your glans with a vibrator. Or your partner can use this masturbator during oral sex!

Best all round lube: überlube

Überlube was created with sex in mind, but the formula is so pure and perfected, why limit it to just one area of your life? And so they tell you on their website that you can use it not only for reducing friction during sex, but also for styling your hair, to moisturize your skin after shaving, and even to protect your skin during exercise.

So it is a lubricant (check) that is colorless, odorless and tasteless.  Being a silicone-based lubricant, it contains no animal products (vegan friendly), no alcohol, no gluten, no glycerin and no parabens. So if you are sensitive to water-based lubricant, this is a great alternative.

Überlube is really a premium silicone lube that is soft to the touch and safe due to the limited number of ingredients. It is one of my favorite lubricants. Also read my comprehensive review of Überlube.

PROS: Little needed, also suitable for anal sex, odorless, colorless and tasteless, body-friendly, vegan-friendly.

CONS: Not recommended along with silicone toys.

Best vibrating penisring: We Vibe Verge

You wear the Verge by We-Vibe around the penis and testicles. It pinches slightly so you feel a slight pressure. The protrusion massages the perineum. This makes the Verge suitable for masturbation as well as sex with a partner.

The Verge is designed to pamper the perineum (the area between the testicles and the anus). The idea is to put your testicles through the opening first (one at a time) and then your (flaccid) penis.
