Tenga Sneakers?

The sneakers are simply done in gray and white, with the word “TENGA” in red. It is not clear to me which Tenga toy he used as the material for the footwear, but the white color suggests that it came from various Tenga Cups or Tenga Eggs.

Bokunou posted photos of his creations on Twitter and they quickly went viral with more than 10,000 likes and 1,200 retweets.

Bokunou recently exhibited Tenga-themed works during the Christmas weekend at the Shinjuku Ganka Gallery. In addition to the Tenga sneakers, a Tenga alarm clock, toothbrush, comb, a puppet and even a real climbing wall were on display at the art pop-up store. The gallery, which is known for art subculture events, posted some great photos and a video on Instagram of the exhibits, including a Tenga-themed T-shirt and steampunk leather jacket.

Perhaps one of the strangest items is the Tenga Cup that has been converted into a bell to scare bears with while hiking in the mountains. Bokunou posted a video of the bear bell on his Instagram.

By the way, Tenga collaborated on these unusual creations. Not only did they give permission to use their products, but they also paid attention to it on their social media.
