Japanese manufacturer Tenga regularly comes out with innovative sex toys for persons with a penis and now they have come up with something new again: The Tenga Puffy. This is a series of three different masturbators and I got to be one of the first to test the Puffy.

What is the Tenga Puffy?

Tenga has made many different toys to stimulate the penis and yet this one is different from all the others. Why? A masturbator almost always consists of a soft sleeve into which the penis goes and a hard holder to make the sleeve more manageable. The Tenga Puffy – as the name suggests a bit – actually has a soft holder.

Inside, it’s the ultra-soft spongy material you’d expect, but the silky silicone sleeve brings new possibilities.

There are three different Tenga Puffies: the Tenga Puffy Sugar White (tingly soft), Tenga Puffy Mint Green (wobbly soft) and Tenga Puffy Latte Brown (soft). While none of that says much, assume they differ from each other by the softness of the sleeve.

All three Tenga Puffies have the same design. It is a soft sleeve with not one but two lids! One lid you take off before use. The other you take off only when you go to rinse it. By a sleight of hand, you can twist that second lid so you can let it dry after washing (see below). And yes, because you can easily wash it thoroughly, this masturbator is suitable for more frequent use. Be careful though, because the sleeve is made of elastomer, which is a porous material. If you plan to share it with others, I recommend using a condom.

Unboxing

As you have come to expect from Tenga, the Tenga Puffy comes in fairly discreet packaging. On the box is an innocent picture of the product and on the back you can see a cross-section. Inside the package – in addition to the Tenga Puffy – there is a bag of Tenga’s lubricant and instructions for use in several languages and with several clear pictograms.

The test drive

I must say that at first I was a bit surprised by the two lids. What was the purpose? Did they both have to come off? Can you penetrate the Puffy from two sides? Fortunately, the instructions were very clear: The top lid comes off before use. Just make sure the other lid is securely locked during use. Take off this other lid only to rinse it thoroughly under the tap.

By the way, that other lid has a soft cushion on the inside. Should you have a long penis, you will never bump into a hard lid.

Tenga always supplies a sachet of its own lubricant, but I actually always throw it away immediately. I find Tenga’s lube too stringy and sticky. Sorry, Tenga. Fortunately, I always have plenty of water-based lube in the house. This is necessary, by the way, because without lube, it’s nearly impossible to penetrate the Tenga Puffy.

What makes the Tenga Puffy different from other masturbators is that the sleeve is soft. This allows you to squeeze it slightly to increase the pressure and better feel the internal structure. This way, you decide how tight you make the experience.

As the description somewhat gives away, the sleeve is very soft. Both on the outside, but certainly also on the inside. This makes masturbating a particularly great and erotic experience. You could spend hours (well, yes, I’m exaggerating) edging with the Tenga Puffy. I tested the Tenga Puffy White and that the softest of the three. This one has the least pronounced texture. If you like more texture and a little less soft materials, go for one of the other two models.

I loved playing with the Tenga Puffy and will definitely do so more often!

Cleaning

Tenga always has a great eye for design and you can see that in all of their products. But with the Tenga Puffy, Tenga goes a step further. For the design also considered cleaning. Above I already mentioned that there is a second lid. By unscrewing it, you can rinse the Puffy very easily under the tap.

But there’s something else! By turning this lid a quarter turn, you can let the Tenga dry! Now, isn’t that thoughtful?

Conclusion

I love Tenga’s products. Okay, maybe not their lube, but certainly their masturbators. And this Tenga Puffy is no exception! With the three Puffies, Tenga has come up with another new concept that provides a whole new sensation with its soft internal structure and soft sleeve. The Puffy has a very neat appearance and a lot of thought has gone into the ergonomics and design. This also makes cleaning very easy.
