You may know Tenga from the fun and affordable sex toys for men. The Japanese company regularly introduces high-quality and innovative products that cannot be compared to toys from other brands. Recently Tenga launched the Crysta series. Again, these are toys with a unique stylish design, which cannot be recognized as erotic toys. Tenga asked me to test the Crysta Ball and – yes – I wanted to!
Spoiler alert: Those balls, huh … they make THE difference!
What can you do with a Tenga product?
Tenga is a brand with different masturbation toys for modern stylish men. Other manufacturers often try to make masturbators in the shape of a vagina, anus, or mouth. But Tenga’s products are simply designed to stimulate the penis as perfectly as possible and not mimic intercourse or oral sex. Tenga does this by paying close attention to the design of patterns and ridges.
Tenga masturbators come in all shapes, sizes and functions, but they all have in common that they are made of elastomer. This is a type of rubber that is extremely flexible and soft.
What is a Tenga Crysta Ball?
In early June 2020, Tenga launched a new range of masturbators called ‘Crysta’. Due to an innovation in their production system, it became possible to add ‘floating’ parts in the elastomer. There are three different Tenga Crysta products: The Tenga Crysta Leaf (with leaves), the Tenga Crysta Block (with diamonds) and the Tenga Crysta Ball (with balls).
What is immediately noticeable is the shape of this masturbator; it is a transparent block measuring 57x57x90 millimeters. And it weighs only 220 grams.
Unboxing the Tenga Crysta Ball
Say for yourself: If you didn’t know this was a sex toy, would it come to mind for a single moment?
The Tenga Crysta comes in a square hard plastic box with a shrink wrap label around it. If you take it off, you are left with the box. After use, you can store your Crysta Ball in it (so do not throw it away!). The black bottom contains a sachet with lubricant and a manual.
The test drive: sometimes round is better, sometimes square
I have to admit that I found the Tenga Crysta Ball a bit disappointing at first. Right out of the box, it’s a sticky and wobbly thing. It’s a good thing that it comes with a storage box, as this will definitely attract hair and dust if you put it in your bedside table without some kind of storage box.
I also found the block quite short and thick. The hole – where you have to put your penis in – is also quite small and tight. Hmmm, would this work?
It had been a while since I tried the supplied Tenga lubricant. Usually I threw away the sachets immediately. And now I remember why: it sticks. Next time, just use regular water-based lubricant from another brand.
Any doubts are gone as soon as you slide the Tenga Crysta Ball over your head. Wow! The hard plastic balls do not come into direct contact with your skin, because they ‘float’ in the soft material. But they do have a wonderful massaging effect. It is also no problem at all that the Crysta is only 9 centimeters long. I noticed that with this masturbator you mainly want to massage your glans and frenulum.
By rotating and kneading the block while moving up and down, an orgasm is inevitable! Tenga, you’ve done it again!
Cleansing
You can use this product up to 50 times – Tenga says. I don’t count times, but I believe that. The condition is that you clean the product well after use, by turning it inside out and rinsing it under the tap. Let it dry well before you turn it and put it back in the box.
It’s not difficult, but if you don’t do it, your Tenga won’t last that long.
Conclusion
Tenga knows how to make masturbation with the Crysta Ball – I know you do, don’t deny it – much more fun! And why not use this masturbator together with your partner? The hard balls incorporated in the super soft elastomer are a real find!
