Just when you think you have seen and tried everything, Tenga comes out with yet another innovation in masturbators. Japan’s Tenga is one of my favourite brands when it comes to sex toys for those with a penis. And so, at Tenga’s request, I am only too happy to review their latest Tenga Bobble.

What is the Tenga Bobble?

The Tenga Bobble is a reusable masturbator made of highly flexible material, with special colourful shapes on the inside that provide extra stimulation. As a result, the Bobble not only looks very playful, but also gives you stimulation that is unique.

There are two variants: The Tenga Bobble Crazy Cubes (with cubes) and the Tenga Bobble Magic Marbles (with marbles). I tested the Tenga Bobble Crazy Cubes for you.

The Tenga Bobble comes in a plastic storage box with a printed foil around it. To remove the foil, you need to remove a sticker. Then you can tear off a strip on a perforation line.

When you first take the Bobble out of the tube, there is an additional protective film around it. It also comes with a small instruction manual and a bag of Tenga’s lubricant.

The test drive

What is immediately noticeable is that the Tenga Bobble is made of the well-known soft elastomer. This is an extremely flexible material that is very stretchy in both length and width. The masturbator ‘sleeve’ sits very comfortably in the hand and feels pleasant to the touch.

Through the sleeve, you can feel the cubes on the inside as distinct thickenings. Yet even those cubes are made of the same soft and flexible material.

As a concept, the Tenga Bobble is very reminiscent of the Tenga Crystal Ball. Only the cubes of the Tenga Bobble are much softer and larger than the balls in the Crystal Ball.

To use this masturbator, it is recommended to use water-based lubricant. Tenga always supplies a sachet of lubricant with it, for single use. Personally, I am not a fan of Tenga’s lubricant because it is very ‘stringy’. As a result, it’s always a bit of a mess.

Maybe the Tenga Bobble looks a bit intimidating. But trust me, as soon as you slide the sleeve over your penis, you feel what those cubes do. They are attached at strategic points. Two of the cubes massage the base of the penis, one massages your glans. But the one blue one at the top – oh boy – it massages the frenulum (that sensitive little triangle). As a result, I had a delicious orgasm in no time.

Re-use

After use, you can easily turn the Tenga Bobble inside out. Rinse it off – possibly with some mild soap – and let it dry. Then turn it back and put it in the plastic sleeve. Super easy.

Conclusions

Tenga has done it again! With the Tenga Bobble, they have launched yet another innovation in masturbators. Those cubes really are a find!
