I have been a fan of the Svakom brand since 2014 (pronounced “svee-kom”, because it is from the US). It is a brand that is somewhat comparable to LELO when it comes to quality, but the price is often a lot better. Now, Svakom has released some products that where a little shady (like a vibrator with build in camera … who wants that?), but generally speaking they have excellent products. So I was very glad when EasyToys allowed me to test a number of Svakom products, including this Nymph.

Spoiler alert: This is really a very cool, innovative and versatile toy that Svakom thought through very well!

What is the Svakom Nymph?

Where do I begin? The Svakom Nymph looks a bit like a baby squid. But it is a vibrator and massage toy that you can use on both sides. On the one hand it has three moving massage arms and on the other hand a vibrating head.

The three moving arms can be used to massage yourself or your partner on sensitive spots, such as nipples, clitoris, or glans. And the vibrating head can be used externally, but it is also small enough to insert (vaginal, but also anal). The neck of the Nymph is a bit flexible.

It is therefore a very versatile toy that you can use together or alone in many different ways.

Specs & functions of the Svakom Nymph

The outside of the Svakom Nymph is made of silicone. The device is completely waterproof. You charge the Nymph with a USB cable.

The Nymph is approximately 4 centimeters in diameter and the total length is approximately 15 centimeters. So nice and small and handy.

The arms move in a fixed pattern but you can adjust the speed. There are three different speeds for these massage fingers.

The head can vibrate in three constant levels and in five different vibration patterns. What nobody tells you (except me) is that you can also adjust any pattern in intensity. Brilliant!

Unboxing the Svakom Nymph

The box of the Svakom Nymph is neat, no-nonsense and with a ‘what-you-see-is-what-you-get’ picture on it. The outside of the package is a kind of cover that you can slide off the box.

When you open the box and the Nymph is in a cutout. Below that, you will find two different manuals (one in color with beautiful pictures, and one with mainly text). There is also a registration card for a 10 year quality guarantee! In addition, the Nymph comes with a charging cable and a storage bag. So, all very complete.

The ‘test drive’

In order to charge the Svakom Nymph, you have to insert the pin of the charging cable into the device. Look carefully, because the hole is a bit hidden on the side. After only 40 minutes of charging you can play with it for 1.5 hours!

The material feels wonderfully soft. And – not unimportantly – it doesn’t attract dust at all. That is different with many other silicone toys. Good job, Svakom!

You operate the Svakom Nymph with just two buttons. That does not bode well, but – here it comes – Svakom has found a brilliant way to create a great user experience with just two buttons! How? Well, with the “c” button you control the arms. Hold down the ‘c’ button for a few seconds and the arms begin to move. Every time you press the ‘c’ you go to the next speed level. With the ‘s’ button you control the round head. Again, hold the button down for a few seconds to start. Each time you press the ‘s’ briefly, you go to the next speed. If you ‘double click’ on the ‘s’, you go from constant vibrations to the patterns. With each double click you go to a different pattern and with a single click you change the speed. Look, this is what I call great thinking!

Oh, and you turn it off by holding down the corresponding button again for a while. You can turn on the arms and the head at the same time. No idea why you would want that, but it is possible.

The arms

The arms are nice. You can put them ‘around’ the clitoris, or in other sensitive places. It feels ‘nice’ to me (husband) and my partner (wife). We felt little difference between the different speeds. Especially at the highest speed we found the sound not very sexy. Not that it was loud, but it sounded somewhat … mechanically, if that’s the right word. We found the arms nice. Nice for during the foreplay, but not orgasmic.

The head

Well, the head! That’s a different story. The lowest pair of vibration settings feel deep and intense. The higher speeds are somewhat sharp and intense. The head is great for external use, but can also be used for penetration. Do add some water-based lubricant! You can still reach the buttons when you insert the head, but the length of the Nymph is not large enough to reach the G-spot. At least, we thought so. Everyone’s anatomy is different, isn’t it?

You could also use the head anally. After the neck there is another thickening that will prevent the Nymph from disappearing into you. We did not try to use it anally, but it should be possible.

Cleaning the Svakom Nymph

Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy! The material, the shape and the fact that the thing is completely waterproof makes it easy to clean this device.

Well, and we love it if the manufacturer also supplies a storage bag. This way you keep your toy beautiful for a long time. Thank you, Svakom, for thinking along!

Conclusion

The Svakom Nymph is a very versatile device that you can use both solo and together. With the arms you can get in the mood during foreplay and with the head you help your partner to go over the edge. Considerable consideration has been given to the operation and the entire concept. Really recommended! And doesn’t the thing look sweet?!
