An Advent calendar is an old custom. They are those boxes with hatches that you get to open one every day to count down to Christmas. Behind each hatch is then a chocolate, or toy. Since a few years, Advent calendars with toys for adults have also appeared on the market around this time. The principle is the same: a box with hatches, but with sex toys.

Unboxing the 12 Days of Christman Adventskalender for Men

The 12 Days of Christman Advent Calendar for Men contains (duh) 12 sex toys, an ‘inspiration guide’ with colour photos and tips, and a simple manual with detailed instructions for use. The box is pretty shiny black cardboard with chic blue print.

To get to the toys, the idea is to open one compartment each day. Of course, I opened everything in one go. That opening is easy because the hatches are well perforated. Behind each hatch is one toy. And that toy is individually packed in a small plastic bag for hygiene reasons.

It contains the following toys:

Day 1: ‘Reversible Handjob’ masturbation sleeve. This is a small flexible sleeve made of soft TPE. On the inside, it has ribs. When you put the sleeve around the penis when jerking off, the ribs provide extra stimulation. After use, flip the sleeve over and you can easily rinse it under the tap.

Day 2: Three silicone penis rings, different sizes (3.3cm, 2.7cm, 4cm)

Day 3: Rechargeable bullet vibrator with remote control. This bullet made of ABS plastic will be used with Day 4, 6 and 11 toys.

Thus, it serves as a kind of buffer or cushion to prevent you from thrusting too deeply (which can be painful for the female partner). You can also use it as a ‘ball-stretcher’.

Day 10: Neoprene handcuff set with Velcro.

Day 11: Vibrating anal beads made of silicone. Use the bullet vibrator from day 3. Insertable length is 8.5cm and diameter is up to 3cm.

Day 12: Masturbator with vacuum function. This is a super soft masturbator made of TPE with a hard sleeve. The sleeve has a hole and when you cover that hole, a vacuum is created, giving you the feeling of being sucked off.

Conclusion

Yes, I so love these kinds of gifts! It’s just lovely to be able to unwrap a fun naughty toy every day. The toys are all beautifully finished and made of soft body-safe material. There is actually nothing in the box that I would never use. And I also think it’s a great idea to make an Advent calendar for penis owners for once. That’s a credit to Sinful.

It is a fun and naughty gift for any man who loves sex and is not afraid to add some toys to it. Whether for himself, or to enjoy with a partner.

There is something missing in the box, though, and that is lubricant. The inspiration booklet does have a QR code directing you to Sinful’s online shop, where you can buy your lubricant. And I find that a bit of a shame. Because if you get this box as a gift, surely you want to be able to play with the toys from day 1 and not have to get something additional? Unless of course – like me – you have a whole supply of lubricant at home. Still, a small bottle wouldn’t have been out of place.
