In the past, I have not always been very positive about Satisfyer sex toys. I found them outright bad, or a bad copy at best. But now, Satsisfyer shows that they have more to offer, with their Partner Multifun 3. The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 has some kind of ‘wrench’ – I don’t know how else to call it – and a vibrator at the other side. This gives this device sheer endless possibilities. And, yeah, I love it!
Spoiler alert: I must say I am quite impressed bu this toy!
What is a Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3?
Sometimes, I just don’t get those manufacturers. Why are they always pushing for so many different product categories? Us consumers can hardly see the forest for the trees. And it brings those extremely long names: Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3’. Pfff … But, well, I’ll try to explain.
Satisfyer is a German brand that produces sex toys for women, men and couples. The range of products for couples has the sub brand name ‘Partner’. There are eight different ‘Partner’ toys. Within that range, there are three toys named Multifun. The Mutifun 1 and 2 are shaped lake a horseshoe that can be used in different ways. Online reviews of the Multifun 1 and 2 are actually quite dramatic.
The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 is a completely different story though. This is a new and original concept. It is a vibrator that can be used solo by both men and women, or by couples from different or same gender. On one side the Multifun 3 has this ‘wrench’ shape, and on the other it is a vibrator. That makes it very versatile.
Specs & functions
Brace yourself, because the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 is actually multiple toys in one and by combining the different functions, many variations are possible.
To begin with, the Multifun 3 has two motors. One to let the ‘wrench’ vibrate, and the other for the vibrator on the other side. Both motors can be operated separately. Both have 10 different speeds (3 steady vibrations and 7 patterns). This gives this device 120 different vibration settings (10 solo for the wrench, 10 solo for the vibrator and 10×10 for mutual use).
Further more the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 has a silicone cover. Between the ‘wrench’ and the vibrator is a plastic (ABS) ring. At that point, the wrench can turn 180 degrees.
And yes, that is extremely handy, because it makes the possibilities even bigger. On the box and in the manual, Satisfyer makes some suggestions on how to use this toy, solo or with your partner. They also show how it can be used by two women. Kudos for that!
The front of the box is all nice and good. The back, though, shows over 30 different positions in with you can use this toy as a male-female couple, a female-female couple, or solo as male or female. It is all done in a rather decent manner. Good job, Satisfyer! It also shows the versatility of this toy.
Besides the Multifun 3, the box also contains a manual with clear pictures, a magnetic USB charging cable, and a booklet with safety instructions. Don;t bother reading that. If you just use your common sense, there is nothing in there worth reading.
The ‘test drive’
Straight out of the box, the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 is already charged. Nevertheless I have the habit of cleaning and charging new toys before first use. The cable that is included is long enough, fortunately and the magnet is strong enough to keep it in place while charging. During charging, you can see a vague blue light, if you look really carefully.
Solo use by him
The most obvious way you might want to use this toy, is to stick the penis in the ‘wrench’s’ opening and enjoy the vibrations. Still, this isn’t the best way to use the Multifun 3 solo. The arms have no grip (in other words: the whole is simply to big, unless you have a penis the size of a baby’s arm). On top if that, the vibrations resonate almost only in the tips of the arms. I enjoyed it better by pushing those tips to my most sensitive areas. The sound level was OK, by the way.
In the video below, I used a paper espresso cup with water, to demonstrate the vibrations of the wrench.
Satisfyer suggests that you can also use the Multifun 3 anally. For penetration I think it is quite big. But for external stimulation it was quite nice.
A comparison with my favorite toy, the Fun Factory Manta, came up quickly. That one also has the same half moon shape with two arms. For solo use by a man, the Multifun 3 can not level up to the Manta. The Manta has much more grip and deeper vibrations. But the Manta doesn’t have a shaft that can vibrate, on the other hand.
Solo use by her
The vibraties of the motor in the ‘shaft’ of the Multifun 3 appear to be much stronger than the ones in the ‘half moon’. They do make some more noise. The vibrations aren’t the deepest, but they are still rather impressive. The possibilities for solo use by her are diverse. You can use both ends externally, for example to stimulate the labia and the clitoris. The shape of the shaft also makes this a great toy for penetration. Do use some water based lube to ensure less friction.
Is this the best vibrator for solo use? No. There are vibrators out there with deeper vibrations. But this toy is much more versatile, because you can use both ends!
The fun really begins when you use the Multifun 3 together with a partner. Because you can make both ends vibrate at the same time in different speeds, you might actually consider the Multifun 3 as a third partner. The possibilities are endless. Just look at the pictures and you will get a clear idea of the endless possibilities.
When you place the ‘wrench’ around the penis, the vibratins don’t resonate well to actually be felt by her. The Fun Factory Manta again is better at that. But that doesn’t mean that yo can play with this endlessly, as the pictures suggest.
A big disadvantage of the Satisfyer Multifun 3, though, is that the operation buttons are very minimalistic. In some positions you can hardly find them and you end up pushing the wrong one. That can be somewhat awkward (“could you make mine go faster? No, not yours, mine!”).
Cleaning is easy. The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 is completely waterproof and can be submerged. You can clean it with water and some mild soap or toy cleaner.
The Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3 is one of the most versatile toys out there. The device is both suited for solo use, as for joined use together with a partner. The vibrations are not the strongest, but still pretty decent. The toy looks great and accessible. You can choose from three different colors.
I still find it annoying that toys like this don’t come with a storage bag. At home, we have a drawer full of sex toys and charging cables laying around. Storage bags makes life so much easier (and more discrete).
The PROS of the Satisfyer Partner Multifun 3:
- Nice material. The silicone feels soft
- Charging with a magnetic USB cable (included) that is long enough
- Endless possibilities (120 combinations of vibration)
- Decent vibrations.
- By bending the head, the Multifun 3 can be used in many different positions
- For males, females, male-female and female-female couples (although I can’t see why this couldn’t be used by male-male couples)
- Waterproof, so can be used in the bathtub or shower too
- Easy cleaning
- No storage bag included
- Small buttons that are hard to find when used as a couple
