A while ago, Satisfyer launched a series of lay on vibrators, that where named ‘Layons’. Earlier, I tested the Satsifyer Layons Dark Desire and now the little sister of it: The White Temptation. I (man) tested this toy together with my partner (female).

Spoiler alert: The hole makes all the difference!

What is the Satisfyer Layons White Temptation?

Satisfyer calls the vibrators from this series ‘Layon’, which is a corruption of the English ‘lay-on’. And that is exactly what the vibrators Layons vibrators are: lay on vibrators.

A support vibrator is intended for external use. Satisfyer’s manual shows that you should mainly hold the White Temptation against the clitoris, but nothing prevents you from holding the thing against other parts of your body; a nipple, labia, perineum, frenulum, … whatever turns you on! You can also use this kind of small vibrators when you are going to massage someone, for example.

Satisfyer calls the White Temptation ‘concentrated seduction in pocket size’.

Specs & functions of the Satisfyer Layons White Temptation

In fact, all Layons vibrators are essentially the same. Only the design differs. This one is also completely waterproof, so you can simply take it with you in the bath. And that is damn handy when cleaning.

You charge the White Temptation with a magnetic USB cable, which is now used on just about all new Satisfyer models. After 3.5 hours it is fully charged and you can play with it continuously for 50 minutes.

There are only two ‘buttons’ on this vibrator: + and -. That way you change the setting. First you pass constant vibrations and then there are different patterns.

Unboxing

The packaging of all recent models of Satisfyer is equally fresh and modern. The new corporate identity is very recognizable by the color scheme (vintage pastel shades), an image of a smiling person and a photo of the device in its actual size.

The package also contains a user manual with clear pictograms, a USB charging cable and a booklet with safety instructions.

In short, all very well cared for. They do that quite well, there at Satisfyer.

The ‘test drive’

Straight out of the box, the Satisfyer Layons White Temptation was already charged and ready for use. Handy, because of course we don’t want to wait 3.5 hours before the thing is charged.

The operation of this White Temptation is the same as the other models. To turn the device on, you must hold down the + button for a few seconds. You then start on the middle of the constant vibrations. With the – button you make the thing vibrate less hard and with the plus you can take two more steps up. If you then press the + again, you will get to the patterns section, so to speak. I don’t know why Satisfyer says there are 15 positions, because I really only count about 10. The patterns all seem to vibrate at their loudest and you can’t turn that down.

The vibrations of this White Temptation seem to be a bit more superficial than those of the Dark Desire. But the difference is minimal. We put some water-based lubricant on the thing to make it more comfortable and that is definitely recommended.

When using the Satisfyer Layons White Temptation it appears that the shape is a solution. That square hole in the middle makes all the difference! Where the Dark Desire always slips out of your hand (especially if you have used some lubricant), you can now put your finger in the hole. This means you can handle it much better and therefore also position it better in the right place. That hole is really an invention! You can put it on your finger as a kind of ‘ring’ when you massage yourself or a partner.

Cleaning the Satisfyer Layons Dark Desire

I always say it: Toys that are waterproof are easy to clean. Just keep them under the tap or immerse them in a bathtub. The transition from the ‘shiny pink’ part of hard plastic to the white silicone is a bit more sensitive to dirt. Therefore, use a washcloth or cloth to clean the thing thoroughly. If you really want to be thorough, you can of course also use some mild soap or some toy cleaner.

Conclusion

That hole, …. That just makes this thing a lot better than the Dark Desire. Because of that hole you can handle this little toy much better. It does not vibrate out of your hand and you can press it in the right place much more precisely. The vibrations seem a bit more superficial, but are still very decent. The price and the performance are very reasonable.
