Willie.nl has a new range of products for body, home and work (?) under the brand name ‘Pleasure Label‘. And I was asked to test three products from that range. The woman of Willie.nl send me ‘About to get wet’ massage oil, ‘About to get wet’ body wash en ‘Rebel kiss’ home fragrance.

The Pleasure Label

Willie.nl launched this new brand in the beginning of 2019. It consists of four fragrance lines:

• Chillin Me Softly: With a hint of vetiver, sandalwood, cotton and mandarin blossom
• Into The Groove: With a hint of Cardamom, white tobacco, cinnamon and almond
• Rebel Kisses: A hint of Vanilla, Cardamom, leather and sandalwood
• About to Get Wet: With a hint of Basil, lemongrass, leather and jade

The home fragrance is meant to make your house smell nice. According to Willie.nl, your partner will jump you, when you spread one of these fragrances in your house. We’ll see about that!

The massage oil of The Pleasure Label promises to be relaxing because of the ingredients (and of course the massage itself). The oil has a stimulating, and nourishing effect on the skin, says Willie.nl.

The bodywash is a shower gel to wash off the massage oil, but of course you can also use it for normal showering with a nice scent.

Rebel kisses Home Fragrance

Naturally I started off to bring the right mood into the room where I planned to give a massage (our bedroom). Just the right use for a house fragrance like this. The bottle of ‘The Pleasure Label’ has a cute and modern look and is easy to use with its pistol grip.

The perfume sprays, but is rather ‘wet’. So you better spray it in the air and not directly on your cushion, or so. Also, the label warns that the damp is inflammable. So you better not spray it around if you already lighted the candles (I didn’t test this, I decided to trust the label in this).

I was pleasantly surprised by the scent. It isn’t overly present, but just enough to define the atmosphere. The sandalwood, leather and cardamom makes it manly, but the vanilla has a soft female touch.

About to get wet massage oil

Then, it’s time for the massage. No need to tell my partner twice.

The massage oil also comes in a ‘fresh’ modern plastic bottle. It has a pump, to make dosing, without spilling, a breeze.

The scent is very soft and not overly present. I have a hard time recognizing it. It is a fresh but sensual aroma.

The oil is very thin and spreads easily on the skin. It doesn’t resolve into the skin quickly, so you can use it for a (very!) long time before reapplying. An important ingredient of the oil is butyrosperum Parkii Butter, also known as shea butter. That is a natural fatty creme, from an African tree. Not only is this a natural ingredient, it is completelt safe and even edible. Because the oil doesn’t resolve into the skin quickly, beware that you don’t over use it.

About to get wet body wash

After the massage it’s time to wash it off with the ‘About to get wet body wash’. Fortunately we have a shower where we both fit and we take the bottle of shower gel with us.

The body wash comes also in a nice modern bottle and also has a pump. The soap is rather thin and watery, and at first it seems that it doesn’t foam. But that seems to be because of the fatty massage oil on our skin. By the time it is washed off (that went rather quick), and we used a second amount of soap, it is definitely beginning to foam.

The scent of the body wash is also not very extreme, but rather nice and soft. The scent of the massage oil and of the soap are from the same line. That is great, because it extends the sensation of the massage.

Conclusion

I was pleasantly surprised by these products. The package is modern and young and the fragrances are delicate. The home fragrance spreads a lovely odor. The massage oil works for a long time and with the body wash you can prolong the experience while you wash each other. I don’t think every random visitor will jump at you when you use the home fragrance of The Pleasure Label in your house. When it comes to that point, the products don’t deliver what they promise. But, be honest, who would want that anyway?

These products are great for everyone who enjoys eachother and that now how important scent is for a stimulating and sensual atmosphere.

• Pleasant smell. Not overly present.
• Bodysafe
• Nourishing for the skin. The soap is free of SLS and parabenes and doesn’t dehydrate the skin
• Not tested on animals
• Nice and original package, great as a gift
• Easy dosing

The cons of The Pleasure Label products:

• The house perfume sprays rather wetty and is inflamable
• Price wise, these products are comparable to those of Rituals for example.
