Many masturbators look alike. But this Rebel Masturbator is really different! And that’s why I was very curious about how it works.
What is the Rebel Shaking, Warming & Vibrating Masturbator?
Rebel is a brand of the German wholesaler Orion. ‘Also, Deutsche Gründlichkeit, nichtwar?‘ The brand has several products for men and this masturbator is perhaps the most innovative in the range.
This masturbator is also referred to as a “blowjob simulator. Unlike other masturbators, it does not have a removable sleeve. However, it does have three different functions that – if you want (and you will) – you can control separately:
- Vibration: 3 speeds and 4 patterns (together 7 positions)
- Heating: Heat up to 40 degrees Celsius
- Shake: Shake back and forth in 3 speeds and 4 patterns (7 positions)
There are three buttons on the masturbator that allow you to control the different functions separately.
Furthermore, this rebel is waterproof and has a rechargeable battery. The sleeve is made of body-safe silicone.
What is further notable is that the insertion depth is only 7 centimeters. So for most men, that means you can’t fit your penis all the way inside the masturbator. The total length is 20 centimeters and it weighs 474 grams.
Unboxing the Rebel Blowjob Masturbator
The box of the Rebel actually contains almost all the information you need. On the front you’ll see a realistic photo and on the back a picture with all the features and details.
Inside the box is a transparent inner box, which holds the Rebel. Inside the Rebel itself is the USB charging cord and a very general instruction manual with tiny print. And by general, I mean that it was not written specifically for this model.
And that leaves a few things to be desired. There is no storage pouch and the instructions are not clear whether this device can be immersed in water or not. But since the sleeve of this masturbator cannot be removed, that’s pretty essential to know. From a German brand, I expected more.
The ‘test drive’
And this is where it started to get fun. I always have such reservations about masturbators from other brands where you have to put your dick in a fake pussy, mouth or ass. Just give me a device that looks like a … uh … device. I just don’t like fake that much. And the Rebel looks more like a spaceship than a sex toy, if you ask me. Because of the specific shape, the Rebel is very easy on the hand though.
The packaging makes clear that it is recommended that you use some water-based lubricant, but the first time I deliberately did not. I turned on the heating function and waited a few minutes for the inside to start getting pleasantly warm. Getting hot doesn’t really happen very quickly with the Rebel, so be patient.
Then I put my still flaccid penis in the Rebel and then turned on the vibration function. This was very pleasant, especially in the middle position. My erection started to grow and because of that, the sleeve ‘sucked’ in, so to speak. Exactly what I had hoped for! However, the vibrations alone are not enough to reach orgasm. They are too superficial for that. Now I turned on the ‘shake’ function. By now combining the different modes of the vibrations and the shaking, it was quite easy to have an orgasm.
Later, I used the Rebel again, but with lube. Still the Rebel retains some of the suction then, but now you can also move the masturbator up and down yourself a little easier. All in all, a great experience!
The fact that you can’t push your penis all the way into the sleeve is perhaps a bit of a shame. The sleeve is stretchy, so you can penetrate deeper than 7 centimeters, but still. It’s not really a miss, because the vibration function is mainly felt in the glans.
What is remarkable is that the Rebel is really whisper quiet! And that’s something else than the mechanical noises that other masturbators often make. Only in the shaking function does it seem that something is loose in the masturbator (but that may be a weight that makes the shaking extra powerful?). Especially when your penis is inside the masturbator, you hear almost nothing.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The nice thing about being a sex toy tester is that you can take a risk, because you get things for free to try out. And although after the first use I still wasn’t quite sure if the Rebel was waterproof, I did hold it under the hot tap to clean it. This way you can easily rinse the inside clean. I also used some mild soap.
And sure enough, it survived! So what I suspected was true: this device is indeed waterproof!
After 180 minutes of charging, you can play with the Rebel for 90 minutes.
Conclusion
I believe that many more men should own a masturbator. See, we all masturbate, so why not make it more fun? Well then!
And if you do want to purchase one, I would definitely consider this Rebel. Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s also solid and it combines heat, vibration and shaking. If that doesn’t get you off …
The plus points of the Rebel Blowjob masturbator with three functions:
- Reasonable vibrations
- Heat function is pleasant
- Especially the shake function is wonderful!
- All functions can be controlled separately and used simultaneously
- Soft silicone sleeve
- Very easy to clean (no need to remove the sleeve and turn it inside out)
- Sucking action
- Easy to hold
- Rechargeable
- Silent and therefore very discreet
- (Splash) waterproof (I assume that it can also be used in the shower, but the manual does not give any information about this)
The cons:
- No storage pouch (when will manufacturers learn!)
- Only 7 centimeters penetration depth (in practice a little more, because the sleeve is flexible)
- Warming up takes a long time
- Unclear general manual

Think you have a typo – you first started off by saying depth of 7 inches (presumably correct) and later – twice – said 7 centimeters (almost certainly wrong).
I’m afraid it is really only 7 centimeters!
