Sex toys, new locations and other positions through lockdown
… at least, according to the American company Adam & Eve. They asked more than 2000 customers of their erotic online store about their sexual behavior during the corona lockdown.
Using sex toys together and new positions
Couples are looking for new ways to be intimate. But 43% of couples surveyed have never shared a toy. They are interested in trying one out together for the first time. Even more couples (49%) are also introducing new positions in their sex life since the start of the lockdown.
Couples have also started to experiment more with anal sex, bondage and role play.
Lasting change
Couples and individuals primarily seek variety in all aspects of their intimacy. They find that variety in sex toys, but also in the location and in positions. And it looks like this behavioral change may well become the new norm. This is evident from a survey that Adam & Eve conducted among their customers.
Adam & Eve saw the demand for sex toys soar since March. That trend alone shows that people want to make the most of their time in solitude.
