My first reaction when I received the Copy from the PMV20 collection? ,,Well then! You will certainly find this one if you rummage in your bedside table in the semi-darkness!” Rarely seen such a colorful vibe. At first glance it makes you happy, but did his performance make me happy too?
Well, not so much …

PMV20 (Post Modern Vibes 2020) is a new series with five powerful toys. I tested the Copy, the dolphin vibrator of the bunch. I personally thought he was less “fun”. Here’s why:
I have to confess that I’ve always been more of a dildo enthusiast. After all, the material is often nice and soft, they make no sound and they cannot be empty.
Some points of criticism
And those are also my first points of criticism of the Copy. It takes about three hours before it is fully charged from empty. And once I got that far: although the outer layer of the Copy has a peachy-soft silicone skin, it still feels harsh. Too hard for my preference. And then the sound it produces! I had a tendency to turn up the moody background music in my bedroom so that it would drown out the noise from the Copy. But I also have neighbors …
The Copy head does not vibrate, it rotates. Only the rotation is so minimal to my taste that it is not really successful. And I just really looked forward to that rotation feature, because dildos can’t! Unfortunately, I didn’t feel much of the rotations, even though there are twelve settings.

Then the muzzle and the ‘flippers’ of the Copy. They vibrate for the exterior pleasure: they are also made of silicone, but again too loud to be nice for me.
Because the Copy has no less than three (3!) motors, this also explains its considerable weight. You really have the feeling that you have something in your hands and I liked that. You just need to have a good grip on it. The Copy has a ring at the bottom as a handle. I am blessed with small hands and frail fingers (my Dear: “That makes everything seem bigger!”) But I could hardly hold the vibrator properly due to the small size of the ring. And you need that to go through all programs.
Those programs are also a thing by the way. There are so many. Twelve for the rotations and thirteen for the vibrations. The programs as well as the intensity of the rotating head and the vibration of the dolphin can be controlled separately. They can even be paused if you prefer to feel them separately. With small push buttons you go through the programs and because there are so many, you can spend a while until you have found the best setting for yourself.
What I’m missing: a button with which you can specify your favorite setting; so that it starts with that setting right away when you turn it on. Because now it always starts with the ‘enamel of your teeth’ position. Fortunately, it does have a travel lock. So that it cannot accidentally turn on when you have it in your bag or suitcase.
Speaking of which: a storage bag, would have been nice if that had been included. But unfortunately … I’ll put it back in a washcloth …
Not all is bad
As said, I personally am more of a dildo kinda girl and a vibrator must be very good to convince me. The Copy didn’t. However, that does not mean that there is nothing positive to say about it.
‘Cause:
- The packaging and the color make you instantly happy (even me, who has almost everything in black).
- The USB charging cable is in the same bright color and it has a handy label with the brand name (so no more hassle with searching, you know which toy the cable belongs to).
- The Copy is waterproof.
- There are so many settings that there is something for (almost) everyone.
- The material makes it easy to rinse off your lubricant (water-based).
- It has a travel lock, so no more embarrassing vibrating bag or a vibe working for itself in your bedside table.
In short: the idea of the PMV collection is great fun, the implementation could be better.
