Penis art of Wilkzor & Knarkibarki

The Amsterdam based artist duo Faye and Zoeteke started creating collages in 2013 under their pseudonym Wilkzor & Knarkibarki. And not just any collage. The series has got the name ‘Dicks ‘n Kittens’ and as the name suggests, the male genitals play a major role. In each work the penis is shown together with animals like kittens, dolphins, toukans, or polar bears.

In an interview in Dutch Vice Faye and Zoeteke explain that they started this project to get better Photoshop skills. They asked themselves what they like to watch? And the answer was: dicks! Unfortunately, so they experimentally determined, the men attached to these penises were douchebags. “Nice bod, nice dick, shame of the head”.

The second thing you find, when you search the net for images, is pictures of cute animals. By placing the animal heads on the men’s bodies, the perfect combination emerged. Still, just to get Photoshop skills. And that’s how it all started.

Now, the plan is to spread the art. ‘Happy dicks for everyone!’ They’re thinking of placing these images on ecotoilets of festivals. And they want to create merchandise, but they haven’t got a clue how, yet. The dick will play a major part, because that is ‘super fun!’, although looking for dick the entire day is also driving them crazy. That’s why there will be other material of the duo, later on.
