And again EDC – the company behind EasyToys – launches a new house brand: Panthra. The range consists of 10 different toys, varying from a bullet vibrator to a powerful wand. All toys have an adventurous leopard print and – and that made us happy – a storage bag. EasyToys asked if we would like to test the Panthra Nila and the Panthra Zuna. Below you can read our review of the Nila. That of the Zuna soon follows.
What is Panthra?
Panthra is – as said – a new house brand of EDC. What makes this series special is not the originality of the toys, or the technology. Almost all toys resemble toys that you also find at other brands. What is special is the leopard print and the storage bag that you get for free.
The range contains ten different toys: the Asha – Lipstick vibrator, the Zuna – couples vibrator, the Nayo – bullet vibrator, the Tania – g-string vibrator, the Maha – vibrating egg, the Nila – G-spot vibrator, the Shaka – wand vibrator, the Zane – vagina balls, the Kesia – butt plug set and the Gato – set with 8 different BDSM toys.
Specs & functions of the Panthra Nila G-Spot Vibrator
The Nila is a curved flexible vibrator for the G-spot (and if you want the prostate too). This vibrator is made of black soft silicone. The insertion depth is 15 cm, in total the Nila is 21 cm. The ball at the top is 3 cm in diameter.
Furthermore, the Nila is fully waterproof and has 10 different positions; three constant vibrations and 7 patterns. You charge the Nila with a supplied USB cable.
Unboxing the Panthra Nila
What a nice idea to include a bag (10 x 15 cm) with a sex toy. Read my reviews: in 9 out of 10 cases I am complaining that there is no storage bag or pouch. Why do I think that is so important? Well, first of all you keep your toy beautiful for longer. And it’s more hygienic. No dust or hair that sits in your bedside table will come on your toy. And it prevents toys made of different materials from sticking together. But what’s also nice is that your charging cable stays with your toy. Especially if you have more than 1 toy (or, as with us, a few dozen), it is always a matter of looking for the right cord. Now you can neatly store the cord in the side pocket of the bag. Kudos that all Panthra toys come standard with a bag.
Around the bag is a cardboard that also has a hanging hole for display purposes in shops. I’ve been amazed about that before with other toys. That somewhat diminishes the feeling that you are unwrapping an intimate gift.
The toy comes in an extra plastic bag. This is only for hygiene during transportation and although I get that, I am getting more and more annoyed by the amount of packaging material for sex toys. The term “circular economy” has not really set in this industry yet.
Anyway, in addition to the vibrator, the bag also contains a very brief manual and a charging cord. Incidentally, that manual s a bit poor. It seems to be there “because there simple has to be one”, for it does not help you very much. Why not nice icons with tips for use? And a picture where the charger should go?
The ‘test drive’
The Nila immediately feels very pleasant. It is a lightweight toy that is very flexible. It takes a while to find the hole for the charger. This toy has a charging cord with a thin “needle” that you have to put through the silicone in the right place. At first I thought that was not surprising, because you see this more often. But it did surprise me a bit that other toys from this range have different charging systems. For example, the Zuna has a magnetic charging cable. Huh? Why two types of cables?
When the Nila is sufficiently charged, we took this baby for a spin. And we (my partner (female) and I (male) were pleasantly surprised. This is just a really good G-spot vibrator. Why?
Well, first of all, this vibrator is very flexible. This makes it very easy to reach sensitive areas with the curved head. Furthermore, the head has the correct curvature, which is important to get to the G-spot properly. It is also nice and long and the control button is in the right place. Because the button is on the bottom you can easily operate it when you play solo with it. The material also feels pleasant. And because it is waterproof, you can easily clean it.
What is also striking is that the vibrations can only be felt in the head. That is very nice. With other toys you sometimes feel the vibrations resonating in the handle and then you get a kind of “lame hand”. Not with the Nila. And speaking of the vibrations: they are very decent. Both for external use (against the clitoris, labia, nipples, glans, …) and internally for the G-spot.
Conclusion
The Panthra Nila is a really good toy. If you like the panther print, then this really is a toy with the right “ROAR”. If you are looking for a G-spot vibrator for solo use, or with your partner, you will not be disappointed.
