A while ago, I received a box full of fun toys from the sympathetic Dutch brand OhYes. I already reviewed a nice set of buttplugs and a vibrating couples ring. This time I will review their premium 4-piece silicone butt plug set.

What is the OhYes Premium 4-piece silicone butt plug set?

This set contains 4 buttplugs in different sizes. Buttplugs are used anally, for example to have the feeling of double penetration, or to stimulate the prostate. Because this is a set with plugs of different sizes, it is perfect for experimenting, training or pushing your limits.

The smallest butt plug is 2.5cm in diameter and has a total length of 10.5cm. The medium is 3 cm in diameter and is one centimetre longer. The large is 3,5 cm in diameter and a centimetre longer and the extra large is 4 cm in diameter and 15,5 cm in length. The insertion depth is of course a few centimetres less in each case, as the base remains outside the body. This base can also be used as a suction cup.

The buttplugs are all made of high-quality silicone, which feels soft. Furthermore, the plugs are all fairly flexible. With this I mean that the ‘neck’ (the narrow part between the base and the bump, so to speak) is flexible.

Unboxing

The same applies to this set as to the other OhYes products: the cardboard packaging contains all the information you need to understand what kind of product it is. And the contents? Yes, this set also comes with a storage bag. The boys and girls at OhYes have really got it down!

This package also contains a QR code that takes you to the OhYes website. If you leave your e-mail address there, you will receive a link to a document (in Dutch) with tips on how to use buttplugs so that you can have the best experience with them. Good thinking from OhYes, as it means you don’t have to put unnecessary paper in the packaging.

The test drive

These buttplugs have a special shape, as you can see. They are more ‘pointed’ than many other buttplugs. But that does make them easier to insert.

The smallest two are easy to handle, even if you have never used a butt plug before. The third one needs more preparation. And the biggest one, well, that one is for the advanced user.

The silicone feels very nice and soft. Always use water-based lubricant for anal use with these buttplugs.

We (my partner/wife and I) found this a very pleasant set. We especially liked the second and third butt plug. They could have been a bit heavier. We did not try the suction cup function, but I can imagine that it is nice when you have a chair with a smooth hard seat…

Cleaning

Cleaning these buttplugs is extremely easy. Just rinse under lukewarm water. If necessary, use some mild soap and rinse well. You can even put them in the dishwasher or sterilize them in boiling water (make sure the buttplugs do not come in direct contact with the bottom of your pan, for example by putting them in a sieve).

Conclusion

This is a very fine and very affordable set of butt plugs. Because they increase in size in small steps, the transition from one to the other is easy. Only the biggest one requires some more practice and is perhaps more for the advanced. On the other hand, you can experiment with this set and become as advanced as you want. Therefore, this set is actually recommended for anyone who wants to experiment with buttplugs.
