Everyone – including me – can sometimes use a little extra to get the most out of themselves. Because sometimes your libido just needs a boost. Right? I have used chemical products, such as Kamagra, but I had been looking for a natural alternative for a while. So yes, I was curious about the N1 up capsules.

Why use a food supplement to improve your libido?

The Power Booster from N1 up is a food supplement made from natural ingredients. The composition is aimed at men who want to give their libido a boost every now and then – for whatever reason. The Power Booster capsules can stimulate the blood flow in the penis and can have a libido-increasing effect.

The ingredients of N1 up consist of a number of plant extracts. For example, it contains Ginseng and Goji extracts. These are two substances known for their potency-enhancing and stress-reducing properties. Furthermore, there is Mumijo in it. This is an alternative medicine that increases vitality and can improve performance. Then there is cinnamon in it, a substance I have written about before that it stimulates aphrodisiac. N1 up also contains vitamin C that can reduce fatigue and finally it also contains zinc. Zinc is known to maintain normal testosterone levels in the blood.

N1 up is therefore not a medicine, such as Viagra or Kamagra, but a food supplement. It is made by the German Pharmedix, which makes various OTC medicines and nutritional supplements.

I received a trial package from Pharmedix via EasyToys. This package contained 4 capsules.

The box looks quite ‘premium’. And by ‘premium’ I mean ‘expensive’. Not surprising, when you consider that you can easily pay € 10 per capsule.

In addition to the strip with 4 capsules, there is also a leaflet with exact information about the composition and use. In it you can read, among other things, that you should not take the capsule on an empty stomach, preferably together with some food and more than 2 hours before ‘requirement’ (read: ‘before you fuck’). After that, N1 up will work for approximately 24 hours.

In addition to the box, Pharmedics also gave me a brochure and a handwritten note in which they wished me ‘much funk’ with ‘my partner’. Ahw, how sweet! But really! I always really appreciate that kind of personal notes.

The test drive

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As said, I am familiar with the effect of Kamagra. Taking that won’t make you horny, but you will get an erection that can last for hours. And if I take multi-vitamins – for example to build up resistance in the winter – I actually notice no effect. So I was skeptical, but also curious.

Day 1: The first time I took a capsule of N1 up, just after breakfast at about 10 am. Around noon, I started to have a kind of ‘sensation’. It’s hard to describe, but it seemed like I was more aware than usual that I had a penis. In the afternoon, I felt more aroused than I normally would on a weekday. And it also seemed like my erection was bigger and thicker that day. Was that the N1 up, or was it all in my head?

Day 2: I decided to take another capsule the next day, around the same time and again after breakfast. And damn, the feeling of yesterday came back; that feeling like I had a heavy genitalia. And again my erection felt thicker and bigger. I also had spontaneous ‘enthusiasm’.

Day 3 and 4: I decided to take a break. I was still skeptical. Maybe my horniness had something to do with something else. Maybe it was that porn video I watched, or that story I was writing for my blog? But in the days when I wasn’t taking the capsules, the excitement and that sense of consciousness disappeared from my penis.

Conclusion

I am kind of a scientist and I understand better than anyone that this experiment is not yet proof. In research terms this is called ‘n = 1’, which means that the research results are anecdotal. All sorts of other factors could have played a role, such as that video I watched, the weather, the clothes my partner wore on those days, how well I slept the night before, … But I can’t hide the feeling that I have noticed an effect from these capsules.
