What is the Mr Member Thrusting Penis Vibrator?

The Mr Member is a penis toy from a company called Sinful. This is a Scandinavian e-Commerce company for sex toys, which has also been active in the Netherlands for some time. This toy has two important functions: it vibrates and it thrusts. And that simultaneously.

The vibration and thrust function can be controlled separately. There are 14 vibration settings and 7 thrust settings. You can use these functions separately (that’s 21 setting already) or combined (plus another 98 settings).

The idea is that you slide the Mr Member over … well, your member; the penis. The vibrations vibrate against the penis, while the thrust positions make the toy shake.

Unboxing

The Mr Member comes in a stylish box that – strangely enough – does not contain the name Mr Member. Instead, it says ‘Sinful Thrusting Penis Vibrator’. Well, what’s in a name?

The box contains – besides the vibrator – a charging cable and a manual in 6 languages (English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, French and Finnish).

The testrit with the Mr Member

Well, look, I am a stubborn guy. So right out of the box I rarely read the manual. I actually assume that devices are intuitive. Certainly for the seasoned toy tester that I call myself after more than 175 reviews. Not so with the Mr Member.

It took me a while to find out where to put the charging pin. With this kind of waterproof toys, which are charged with a cable with a pin, you always have to stick it through a minuscule hole. But where is that damned hole? Well, there it is (see photo). I would never have found it without the manual.

The manual says to charge the Mr Member for 5 hours. What? FIVE HOURS? I didn’t think so! The battery was already slightly charged when it got home, so that should be enough for the first test drive.

What is striking is that the Mr Member has a beautiful appearance. The silicone casing is beautifully black and the metal rim on the top gives it a distinguished character. The material does attract a lot of dust, so rinse it off under the tap before using it for the first time.

Then again, the buttons are fairly intuitive. With the middle button, you put the vibrator on standby. With the bottom button, you control the thrust modes and with the top button you control the vibration modes. Good, we can start!

The inner diameter is quite tight. Therefore, it is wise – or actually a must – to put a good blob of water-based lubricant on the head and/or in the sleeve.

When you turn on the vibrator, it first vibrates for a fraction of a second on a high setting and then continues on the lowest setting. The first time, this is a bit of a shock (WTF?). I think this a strange choice of the manufacturer. The vibrations feel very pleasant and deep. But it gets really interesting when you also turn on the thrust function. Especially the low settings are great for edging. Due to the limited depth, the entire penis cannot be inserted into the sleeve, but that is not necessary at all.

The sleeve lies very well in hand and you can easily operate the buttons with one hand. I do wonder if the Mr Member is suitable for men with a very thick penis. The sleeve is not very flexible. That is nice for the grip, but it is difficult for owners of thicker specimens, it seems to me. I tried it out with my Satisfyer Master and it did not fit in any case (so if you have a penis of that kind of monstrous size: look further).

Due to the weight, this type of vibrator is not very suitable for hands-free use.

Conclusion

The thrust function of the Mr Member really makes a difference. It makes you feel – in addition to the pleasant vibrations – a wonderful shaking movement. The Mr. Member is very comfortable in your hand, but may not be suitable for owners of a thicker than average penis. But be honest: yours probably isn’t.
