When Dutch company EDC – the company behind EasyToys – launched a new line of intimate care products, it immediately caught my attention. This line – named Intome – is developed by EDC and consists of products to nurture, stimulate, delay, enhance or clean for him and her.
EasyToys asked me to test some of these products, among which the Intome Marathon Power Cream.
What is Intome Marathon Power Cream?
The Intome Marathon Power Cream is meant to go on the skin of your penis and it promises you will last longer in sex. It should ensure your erection will last longer. Now doesn’t that sound interesting? Who wouldn’t want that?
To fully understand how it works, I investigated the list of ingredients.
A cream in general is a substance that contains mostly water. The Marathon Power Cream also has water as the prime ingredient. The list of ingredients is rather long, but consists mostly of vegetable extracts and natural compounds that are used in cosmetics and skin care products. You could divide the ingredients into four main groups.
Firstly, there are a number of wax like ingredients, added to give water that thicker substance (glyceryl stearate, ethylhexyl stearate, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate). Glycerine is sometimes connected to vaginal yeast infections, although this has never been scientifically proven. But if you want to use this product in PiV (penis in vagina) penetration, be aware if she is sensitive to yeast infections. In that case you might want to reconsider using this.
Furthermore, some preservatives will prevent this product to perish too soon (citric acid, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, alcohol). It is good to see that Intome does not contain parabenes (a compound that is known to cause allergic reactions), but instead some natural replacements.

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum)
In addition, a number of nourishing ingredients have been added, that nurture and hydrate the skin (prunus amygdatus dulcis, oloe barbadenis leaf extract, arnica montana flower extract, butyrospermum parkii butter, cateareth-12, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, simmondsia chinensis seed oil). These are all natural plant extracts.
But the true power of Intome Marathon Power Cream comes from the ingredient trigonella foenum graecum seed extract. This is an extract of the seeds of a butterfly flower fenugreek. This plant is popular in Arabia and India, because it is seen as a booster of the libido of both men and women. Fenugreek increases the level of the hormone testosterone, although scientific proof is rather flimsy.
Unboxing
All Intome products come in a small box that would fit nicely in any pharmacy. The carton contains the user instructions in Spanish, Italian, English, German and Dutch. That is quite a lot of text for such a small box, so you better have good eye sight!

The Intome Marathon Power Cream contains a small tube of 30 ml (40 grams). When you take off the cap, there is a small piece of aluminum foil that needs to be removed, as you often see with toothpaste for example. This goes rather smoothly though.
The ‘test drive’
The packaging says you need to apply a small amount on the skin of the penis and scrotum. What strikes me is that the cream at first is thick and white. But when you start to massage it over the skin, it becomes thinner and transparent and it becomes easier to rub it over the skin. The cream doesn’t quite get absorbed by the skin, but perhaps that is because I may have used a bit too much (one fifth of the content?). The cream is odorless by the way.
But does it work? Well, you know … I don’t have any erectile dysfunction issues, so whatever my partner or me is rubbing over my cock, it will have an effect anyhow. Regardless of any active substances. However, I do have the impression that the erection may have been harder than normal, but it is difficult to assign that completely and utterly to the Marathon Power Cream. It could have been just the massage …
Because my skin didn’t absorb the cream completely, it felt like I had used some kind of really fatty lube. So it was inevitable that the cream would get into contact with the vagina walls of my partner. A condom could be a solution to that, but I suspect that some of the ingredients (like certain alcohols and oils) will increase the chance the condom will brake. Unfortunately, the packaging does not give an answer to that.
On top of that, I did have the feeling that my penis had become a little numb. I just needed that little extra to get me over the edge, which resulted in lasting longer. However, I can’t explain that from the list of ingredients, other than that there was some kind of coating on the skin.
Conclusion
What shall I say? Did I get a hard erection after using Intome Marathon Power Cream? Yes. Did that last longer than normal? Yes. Did it make me more horny? Well, meh…
The Intome Marathon Power Cream is a nice thick cream that ensures a good erection that last long when you massage it in. It is difficult to say to what extend it was the massage or the cream, though.
The pros of Intome Marathon Power Cream:

The cons:
- Is not absorbed completely by the skin (or did I just use too much?)
