iroha is a brand from Japan’s Tenga and if you’ve been following me for a bit longer, you may have read frequent reviews about the extraordinary sex toys iroha makes. Recently, iroha added three new products to its lineup and I got to be one of the first to test them out.
By the way, iroha writes all brand and type names in lower case, so I follow their lead.
What are yuki, miduri and sakura by iroha?
All three of these updated discreet products are overlay vibrators for individuals with vulvas (but to be honest, what about using them on other body parts?). There is something special about the way manufacturer Tenga is marketing this brand, though. For nowhere is it even hinted that these are sex toys. And thus iroha is targeting women who might normally be a bit timid about sex in general or sex toys in particular. For example, check out their official video (you may only be able to watch this video on YouTube, depending on your settings):
None of these three products initially resemble sex toys. Nor is the packaging explicit. They look somewhat like cosmetic pads, or stress balls. But appearances can be deceiving. These iroha items are luxury massagers designed for self-gratification. The products first hit the market in 2017, but have now been updated. For example, a vibration pattern has been added and the way of charging has been changed. The material has also been improved and they are now waterproof.
These products won a Red Dot Award in 2017!

Unboxing
The yuki, midori and sakura vibrators come in and discreet packaging that is just a bit larger than the product itself. Inside the box – in addition to the vibrator, of course – there is a charging cord for magnetic charging, instructions in several languages and a warning that you can use the product in the bath, but should not store or charge it in a humid area.

The products are very similar in a number of ways. All three are about the same size, equally soft (you can press them like a stress ball) and the operation and vibrations are the same. All three devices have a little button on the bottom that you can use to control the vibrator: 1 long press and it turns on, and each time you press it you go through the different modes. Another long press and the thing turns off. Around that little button you see two metal contacts, which fit magnetically on the charger.

The difference is only in the shape:
- yuki: This is the white one with the shape of a snowman. The ‘head of this little doll’ can be used for penetration. Thus, you can use the yuki both for external use (clitoral stimulation) and ‘semi penetration’ of the vagina opening. But use your imagination, because you can also use it to stimulate the penis, nipples or anus, if you want.
- midori: You can use the almost round midori to stimulate the surface of the vulva (or, as I said, other body parts) with it.
- The cherry blossom pink sakura allows you to precisely pinch and please the clitoris through its indented tip.
There is no storage pouch with these products, but to
The test drive
All three iroha vibrators are very pleasant to use. The “skin” feels extremely soft and because you can press them, they are very nice against your sensitive parts. Although I am sometimes a bit skeptical about products with only one control button, it works extremely well with these vibrators. Why? Because there are simply very few modes on them. The button is also ergonomically placed in the right place and easy to operate.
The vibrations are pleasant in all modes. The lowest setting and the two patterns work well for warming up and the highest setting finishes the job!
iroha is not for porn, but for erotica! Do you like slow enjoyment, arousing yourself or each other, and lots of foreplay? Then this is definitely for you. Think languid Sunday morning, bath together, scented candle on, relaxing music and enjoy the whole day.
Oh, and if you’re going on a plane vacation and aren’t sure if your sex toys will make it through customs, these are excellent discreet toys. The customs officer will think they are cosmetic pads!
Since the products are waterproof, you can easily clean them with some mild soap under running water.
Conclusion
These renewed toys from iroha are for everyone who loves long foreplay, eroticism and touch, soft-feeling toys that are discreet yet do the job (namely, give you an orgasm)!
The PROS of the iroha yuki, midori and sakura renewed vibrators:
- Extremely soft body-safe silicone
- Whisper soft
- Discreet
- Multifucntional
- Considerable vibrations
- Magnetic charging
- Waterproof
- Easy to clean
- Material does not attract dust
The CONS:
- The vibrations may be too shallow for some. If you like deep firm vibrations, then this is not for you.
- The vibrations can be felt all over the device. This is nice for massages, but in the long run you get the feeling of a sleepy hand.
The updated yuki, midori and sakura will be available in Europe from July, 18, 2023.
