All toys bear names that are reminiscent of Science Fiction series set in a galaxy. And – to be honest – the design reminds a bit of that too. Due to the metallic-like finish, with a little imagination, some toys indeed look a bit like a space ship. I was asked to test the Hueman Saturn.

What is the Hueman Saturn?

Saturn is that planet with that huge ring around it, remember? This gas giant is the sixth largest planet and named after the god of agriculture. The latter probably has nothing to do with this toy at all. It is a huge ring though.

The Hueman Saturn is a vibrating ring that you can put around your penis and balls. The 4.7cm inner ring is large enough for most men. The ring will limit the blood flow a bit, so that you get a harder erection that also will lasts longer.

The Saturn can vibrate at three constant speeds and seven different patterns. You can charge the ring with a USB cable that is included.

Furthermore, the Hueman Saturn has a “skin” of soft silicone, which is slightly metallic. Because the ring is completely waterproof, you can take it with you in a shower or bath and the thing is easy to clean under the tap.

Unboxing the Hueman Saturn

Unfortunately, the box of the Hueman Saturn is much less reminiscent of a spaceship than the toy itself. In fact, the box is fairly simple and no-nonsense. Nothing wrong with that, but not exactly exciting either. It appears to have been designed primarily for retail sale, not to serve as a “gift”. That is of course not a bad thing, because the packaging is the first thing you throw away annyway.

What is striking is that the web address stated on the box does not exist. Instead, you will be redirected to EDC Wholesale (the organization behind EasyToys, among others). The company has several dozen private label brands and Hueman is apparently one of them. Hopefully the brand’s own landing page will be released soon?

The reference to space travel is emphasized even more on the box. “Check ignition. Reday to launch? ” And something about that this ring will launch you into the stratosphere and defy gravity. “We have a liftoff!” Nice, nice, nice.

The box contains a hygienically sealed metallic bag, which you can easily tear open. There is a sealed plastic bag inside that contains the Saturn and the charging cable. That’s when I start to worry about the environment. A little less with packaging material would have been okay, guys!

The box also contains a leaflet with the most important instructions for use. According to the box, you can also scan a QR code for more information, but it unfortunately points to the same website that is not (yet?) Online.

Taking the Hueman Saturn for a test drive

My first reaction, as soon as I had the ring in my hands, was that this is a very nice toy. It looks very beautiful and luxurious. This doesn’t feel like junk. The silicone layer feels soft. Beautiful!

The ring is not very flexible or stretchable. I hope it goes well, later on. But first charging. It takes a while to find the hole where the charging cord should go. The manual is also not very clear either. Ultimately, zooming in with my phone’s camera helps. What is nice is that there is a label on the charging cord. This makes it easier to find the right cable.

To put on a cock ring like this (which also goes around the balls), it is useful to first put some water-based lubricant on the inside of the ring. It is most useful if the penis is not – or not completely – erect by then. You can put the ring on the penis first and then put your balls through the ring, or vice versa (I personally prefer that). Please note that the control knob is at the top. It will make operating the ring much easier.

Because the ring is a bit stiff, putting it on is a bit of a hassle. But once it sits, and you make the penis hard, it feels nice. Because the ring is not very stretchy or flexible, I cannot judge how it will suit men who are very small or very big.

When you press the control button for a few seconds, it starts to vibrate softly. Each time you press the button you go to the next position. The first three positions are constant vibrations with increasing speed. The vibrations are not very deep, but they are strong. Although I don’t like patterns that much, I have to say that there are a few patterns that cause a deeper vibration.

What I find particularly special is that the Saturn is whisper quiet. Almost surprisingly quiet, in fact. The sound gets a little louder when the ring is pressed against the body, but still.

The Hueman Saturn is a very pleasant addition to masturbation, but is also fun for sex with a partner. My partner (female) felt the vibrations especially in certain positions. In the missionary position (or Coital Alignment Technique), she felt the vibration directly against her clitoris. The vibrations did not resonate directly in the penis itself. It was certainly a bonus that the penis felt harder!

Conclusion

The Hueman Saturn is a very beautifully finished vibrating cock ring, which is a nice addition for anyone with a penis (and balls). Both for solo sex and sex with a partner. Not only will the vibrations provide extra stimulation, the penis will also feel harder and the erection will last longer. What is not to like?
