Although nipple clamps in general are not that expensive at all, it’s just also nice to be able to make a pair yourself. And that doesn’t have to be difficult at all either. You probably already have a number of household items at home, from which you can make nipple clamps in no time. And you don’t even have to be a real MacGyver!
Why make nipple clamps?
Nipples are an erogenous zone that is often forgotten or overlooked. And that’s a shame. Because many people experience great pleasure through nipple stimulation. A few can even get an orgasm just by playing with the nipples. Research has shown that the nipples and genitals are in contact with the same part of our brain. That explains a lot, right?
BDSM
Nipple clamps are great for beginning BDSM enthusiasts. But advanced users also like to use them. That’s because nipple clamps come in varying degrees of intensity. Some squeeze gently, others simply viciously.
When wearing nipple clamps, you experience a pleasant pinch on the nipple. But it really gets fun once you remove the clamp. That’s when the blood circulation comes back up, making your nipples super sensitive.
As mentioned, nipple clamps are not expensive. They come in various intensities, as I explained before. But, you can of course also make them yourself.
How to make your own nipple clamps?

Chopsticks
At home, we often eat sushi and poke bowl. So our kitchen drawer is full of chopsticks. With those, you make great nipple clamps. All you need more is a pair of rubber bands.
Simply take two chopsticks and put a rubber band on the ends. Do leave a small piece at the end. With those ends, you can more easily pull the chopsticks apart to place them around the nipple. Once you have placed the chopsticks, you can increase the pressure by tightening the rubber bands.
The free chopsticks you often get with sushi are a little less suitable than chopsticks you buy at a toko, though. The free chopsticks are small, sometimes splinter and break sooner. If you do not have chopsticks, you can of course also use pencils or drumsticks.

Hair pins (bobby pins)
Something else you probably just have around the house are sliding pins. You can also make great nipple clamps with these simple things.
Pull the legs of the slide pin apart a little and gently place the slide pin on the nipple. At the tip, the pinch is less intense than at “the bend. This way you can easily change the intensity.

Paperclips
Anything that you can use to clamp things with, you can use as a nipple clamp. So also paperclips. And also paperclips you probably have somewhere in a desk drawer.
Pull the paperclip apart a little at the top (where the two bends are). Don’t do this too hard, or you will bend the paperclip. The idea is to keep the paperclip in the same shape. If you do bend it, put it on the nipple and squeeze it back tight.
Because the paperclip sticks out a little, you can play with it by gently tapping against it. you can also make a chain of paperclips and hang it between the nipples. This way you can gently (or hard, whatever you want) pull on it.

Clothespins
There are an incredible number of different clothespins. They come in plastic, wood, metal and also in all kinds of shapes. Each has its own characteristics. Some are a little tighter than others, for example, because the spring is stronger. That’s why clothespins are perfect as nipple clamps. With all these different clothespins you can experiment freely.
Clothespins are also excellent to use as clamps on the vulva (the labia or clitoris).
Tweezers
You can also easily make your own nipple clamp from tweezers. All you need besides tweezers is again a rubber band. Place the legs of the tweezers on either side of a nipple, and then wrap a rubber band around the ends. The tighter the rubber band, the more intense the grip (duh).
It’s easier if you use slightly larger tweezers. Also, beware of tweezers with sharp points.
But why make them when you can buy them cheap?
As you can read above, it’s pretty easy to make your own nipple clamps. In fact, you probably just have most of the things you need for this at home.
Still, it pays to buy nipple clamps that are specifically designed for that purpose. Nipple clamps are often adjustable, made of good quality materials and often have a much nicer design than – let’s say – an average clothespin. They are also safer than homemade nipple clamps. For example, the wood of clothespins is porous and can therefore be a source of bacteria.
