Today, we received a question from one of the visitors of NBRplaza about the use of a couples vibrator. She had received one as a present and actually had no idea what it was for. And I can actually imagine that a bit. That’s why I tell you everything you need to know about couple vibrators here.

A couples vibrator is meant to be used together with your partner. They are particularly aimed at couples consisting of a man and a woman. The term ‘couples vibrator’ is a collective name for all kinds of vibrators that you can use together. The most well-known are the ‘U’-shaped couples vibrators, of which one part goes into the vagina and vibrates against the G-spot as well as the penis while fucking. The other part goes against the clitoris.

What is a couples vibrator?

The word Couples Vibrator is term used for a vibrator for couples. And when they say ‘couples’, they mean a heterosexual couple, consisting of a woman and a man.

The idea of such vibrators is that you put the smallest arm in the vagina. The larger / thicker part then falls over the clitoris.

Most such U-shaped couple vibrators have two motors: one for each arm.

How to use: If you have inserted the U-shaped couples vibrator in this way, and the man then penetrates the vagina, he will also feel the vibrations of the little arm against his penis. Other brands just have buttons on the part that does not go into the vagina.

Note: Because every woman’s anatomy is different (especially the distance from the vagina to the clitoris), the effect is not the same for everyone. This is especially the case with certain positions.

Vibrating cock rings

A vibrating penis ring is a toy that goes around the man’s penis and has a part that vibrates against the clitoris during penetration.

Vibrating cock rings have two effects. Firstly, they constrict the flow of blood to the penis. This makes the penis harder and the erection lasts longer. The second effect is that the vibrating part comes against the clitoris. Many vibrating cock rings are therefore promoted as devices which promote simultaneous orgasms, because the man can last longer and the woman can come faster.

How to use: Put the penis ring on when the penis is not yet fully hard. Always put a little bit of lubricant on the ring, so you can move it a little bit during use. Turn the ring so that the vibrator comes against the clitoris during fucking.

Please note: With thrusting movements, a vibrating cock ring has little effect. It is better to ride more ‘against each other’, for example in positions like ‘cowgirl’ (woman on top) or CAT (coital alignment technique). Furthermore, most vibrating cockrings have a rather weak bullet vibrator. So don’t expect too much of the vibrations. Most of the time, the vibrations are not perceptible for the man.

How to use: Each particular couples vibrator is different. Some, like the Fun Factory Manta (pictured), turn the penis into a vibrator. But the Manta is much more versatile than that.
