Admittedly, I had been nagging for a while whether I could test the Hot Octopuss JETT. It seemed a great innovative toy for the penis and I have a weakness for innovation. And for penis toys. Anyway, I was pleased that EasyToys sent me one in exchange for an honest review.

What is a Hot Octopuss JETT Guybrator?

The Hot Octopuss brand believes that they are reinventing sex toys. And considering the large number of prizes they receive for innovations, that may well be right.

The JETT is what Hot Octopuss calls a ‘guybrator‘. By that they mean that it is a toy that is meant for owners of a penis. The name is of course not very gender fluid, but then again it is quite clear what it is meant for.

The name ‘JETT’ seems to be derived from the shape. Because when you place this toy on your penis, it suddenly seems transformed into a jet with two jet engines.

In fact, the JETT consists of a holder that wraps around the glans and contains two vibrating eggs that vibrate against the frenulum. The eggs vibrate at different frequencies. Hot Octopuss calls it ‘treble & bass technology’. With a remote control you vary the deep vibrations with low frequency and the more buzzing vibrations with high frequency.

The idea is that you can orgasm hands-free – without jerking, so to speak.

Hot Octopuss does not categorize this toy as a ‘couples toy’ and that surprises me. Of course you can use this toy on your own, but it will be much more fun if you play with it together. Just tie him up and then drive him crazy by varying the bass and treble! If that doesn’t drive him completely crazy ?!

Specs & functions of the JETT Guybrator

The set consists of two bullet vibrators that can vibrate at different frequencies. You can make the bullets vibrate harder or softer separately in five different patterns (the first of which is continuous) in five steps. The idea is that by varying with bass (deep low vibrations) and treble (high frequency) you get a unique sensation.

The bullets are connected to a remote control with a wire. The four AA batteries (not included) that go into the remote control provide the required energy.

You put the bullets in two of the three rings of the ‘sleeve’. The third ring is going around the penis, or rather, the glans, so that the bullets are on the side of the frenulum.

In total, the JETT weighs 175 grams (excluding batteries). Unfortunately, the JETT is not waterproof. You can play with the thing for about an hour on 4 new AA batteries.

Unboxing

The box of this Guybrator is silver and could also be a shaver or something. A cool hipster is depicted on the lid. Fortunately there is a picture on the side that shows exactly what the intention is: this thing goes around the penis!

The box contains two bullet vibrators on a wire, a remote control, the sleeve and two booklets with instructions. For a moment I thought I was going crazy, because I missed the storage bag. I would swear it should be included, but unfortunately. Minus point. There are also no batteries in the package.

The bullets and the remote control look a bit cheap. If only that works out.

The ‘test drive’

Fortunately I always have a box of proper AA batteries somewhere. Just as a precaution (you should do that too!). The big advantage is of course that you do not have to charge the toy and that you can start immediately. Provided you have batteries at home.

At first you have to look carefully to see what is actually meant as the top and the bottom. Next you have to push the bullet vibrators into the sleeve with some force. Then you connect the wires with the remote control. Finally you have to put your penis in the free hole. Make sure the bullets are on the side of the frenulum (that sensitive triangle on the back of the glans).

The sleeve is nice and tight. That is why you can also choose to put on the sleeve while the penis is still limp. Or you can apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to make it easier to put on. Your call.

To turn the JETT on, press the pattern selection button for a few seconds. Both bullets then start to vibrate softly. Now it’s time to vary. The manual advises against setting both bullets to the highest position simultaneously. With the + and – buttons you can now vary with the bass and treble. Those buttons don’t respond very well. You would expect that if you hold down the + for a while, it will automatically go higher, but that is not the case. Only by briefly pressing the buttons will make he bullets respond.

It is also a bit of trial & error with the correct location of the bullets. If you do not put them in far enough, they vibrate against each other and that makes a very annoying sound. Once they are seated correctly, the JETT is surprisingly quiet.

After varying a few minutes I found a position with more bass than treble, which felt great to me. Because the sleeve is around the glans, it is not really possible to stimulate the penis further by hand. And that is also not necessary at all. Because in just a few minutes a wonderful orgasm already appeared.

Cleaning

The JETT is not waterproof. You cannot clean the bullets and the remote control under the tap. To clean the JETT, you must remove the bullets from the sleeve. You rinse the sleeve under the tap and the bullets and remote control are cleaned with a damp cloth, for example.

Conclusion

Variating with low and high frequencies is really a unique experience! It takes a moment to find the right proportions, but then you quickly will find yourself getting this wonderful orgasm.

Of course you can use the JETT as a solo toy for your penis. But let your imagination run free; Consider how your partner can make you ‘edge‘ by handing over the remote control. Add some bondage to it and you have a great kinky experience!

All in all, the JETT does not have a very luxurious appearance. The remote control, the bullets and the wire give the thing a cheap look. Anyway; the JETT is also not really very expensive, so what can you expect?
