A bullet vibrator that you can attach to your fingers for fingering and massaging? I was skeptical, you should know that. I have already reviewed several Hot Octopuss branded male toys, such as the JETT and the Pulse. My experiences varied.

On the packaging of this DiGit, Hot Octopuss says: ‘give bad sex the finger’, and ‘orgasm at your fingertips’. They also call it a ‘digital revolution’, where you have to translate ‘digit’ as ‘finger’. Is it only a high ‘padoem-pats’ level, or does the DiGit really make it happen?

Spoiler alert: De Hot Octopuss DiGit actually does deliver!

What is the Hot Octopuss DiGit?

In short, it is a bullet vibrator that you can clamp to your fingers with a handy clamp. This way you can easily add vibrations when fingering, but also when massaging or handjobs.

It is a small and handy (87.5 x 31 mm – 94 grams) vibrator with a somewhat thicker head. At the base is an S-shaped bracket that is slightly flexible and will therefore fit almost everyone’s fingers. Unless you have the claws of a boat worker.

It is encased in black body-safe silicone. The base is made of a kind of red copper colored ABS plastic.

After the DiGit has been charged for 2 hours with the supplied USB cable, you can play with it for more than 40 minutes. Because the thing is completely waterproof, it can also be taken in the bath.

The DiGit can vibrate constantly and in 5 different patterns and you can turn all modes harder and softer.

Unboxing the Hot Octopuss DiGit

The red metal box exudes quality, but I was especially happy when I opened the Hot Octopuss DiGit packaging: Finally a toy that comes with a storage bag!

There is also a nice long charging cord and a manual with clear pictograms.

The Hot Octopuss DiGit really looks very nice! Almost as a jewel rather than a sex toy.

What I also liked is that the battery was already a bit charged. So you can get started right away if – like me – you don’t have the patience.

Taking the Hot Octopuss DiGit for a test drive

It is a bit of fiddling – but really only a little bit – to get the DiGit smoothly on your finger. Is it better for your index and middle finger, or rather your middle and ring finger? Better left or rather right?

Then it is a bit of a search for the buttons. On one side is an ‘on / off’ button, with which you can also ‘scroll’ through the patterns. The DiGit starts with a constant vibration. Every time you press it you go to the next pattern. There are 6 positions in total. On the other side are two buttons with which you can turn the vibrations – and therefore also the patterns – harder and softer. See: I love that! This way you can adjust the pattern and the ‘volume’ exactly to your mood. What is a shame though, is that the buttons are almost invisible and difficult to feel. You have to operate the DiGit with your other hand and that is a bit of a search. In terms of design it will all be beautiful and stuff, but handy? Not so much.

And then those vibrations, … there is nothing wrong with that at all! But really! Such deep vibrations can come from such a small bullet vibrator!

Because the DiGit works as a kind of extension of your hand, it all naturally. Whether you use it for stroking all over the body, for external stimulation (of the clitoris or the penis), or for penetration (vaginal): it feels like a thick, deeply vibrating finger. Wow! You can apply some extra pressure with your finger and the top is a bit thicker which is nice when penetrating. Use some water-based lubricant, because that makes it a bit more comfortable.

Cleaning

Cleaning is a bit of a thing with the Hot Octopuss DiGit. That’s because Hot Octopuss chooses to put the brand in ’embossing’ on their devices. That and the transition from the silicone to the hard plastic ABS at the base are two areas where dirt and lubricant are easily left behind. Luckily, the thing is completely waterproof, so submerge it well and scrub around these two areas with a brush or washcloth.

Conclusion

A lot of thought has gone into the concept and execution of the DiGit. And it works. A small vibrator as an extension of your fingers with fine deep vibrations. That makes it great for solo sex, but also together with a partner.

OK, the buttons are a bit of a thing and cleaning deserves a little more attention. But otherwise this is a wonderful vibrator.
