Namio Harukawa, who died on April 24, 2020 at the age of 73, was an artist who specialized in fetish art, mainly female domination (femdom), erotic asphyxiation and face sitting.
Harukawa often portrayed voluptuous and corpulent women with wide hips and thick buttocks, who choked submissive men by sitting on their faces or using them as furniture.
Namio Harukawa became particularly famous in the ’00s, when Madonna shared his work on her Instagram.
