EasyToys has a new line of products that you can control with an app on your smartphone. I tested the Zara and below you can read all about this vibrating panty vibe. From the same series, I also tested the Ivy plug and the Leo cock ring.
What is the EasyToys Zara?
The EasyToys Zara is a pink vibrator made of body-safe silicone. The idea is to put this vibrator in your panties and then control it with the EasyConnect app. Of course, you can do that yourself, but how fun is it to let your partner control it? In fact, you can invite people in the app, who can then play with you and your toy during a session.
You control the Zara most easily with the ‘EasyConnect’ app, but it can also be done with a button on the device. That is not very convenient for a panty vibe, simply because the thing is inside your panties. Anyway, there are 9 different vibration patterns. The app also allows you to freely vary patterns and vibration strengths on a ‘touchpad’ on your screen. The app also has a sort of ‘record’ function. This allows you to record the patterns you use during a session for next time.

Unboxing
The Zara comes in a rectangular cardboard box with a magnetic closure. By loosening the magnetic closure, you open the box like a booklet. You then see the Zara behind a little window. The cover contains the most basic information about its functions. You can free the Zara from behind the window by removing a strip. In addition to the Zara, there is a magnetic USB charging cable and a manual in the box. All in all, it is a very well-crafted and professional presentation that feels good and exudes confidence.
Taking the Zara panty vibrator for a test drive
Yaaaa, panty vibrators are fun. We (my partner and I) have several and it’s always fun to play with them. Especially in the ‘festival season’. She then puts one of those panty vibrators under her clothes and I get to operate it.
The Zara is nice and small and therefore fits easily into your underwear. It comes with a small magnet, that is really strong. This keeps the Zara securely in place. It is recommended that before you put on your underwear, you check to make sure the Zara is in the right place, because the strong magnet makes it hard to move it just a little bit. There are two ‘bumps’ on the Zara. If you attach the Zara a little strategically in your panties, one of the bumps will be against your clit and the other against your hole. Or – if you have a penis – one against your anus and the other against the perineum.
You would say that you place the thick bulge so that it comes against your hole and the little bulge against the clit. But my partner preferred to do it the other way around. This is because the big lump vibrates more strongly. It seems as if the little bulge only resonates a little and my partner found that very disturbing.
TIP: Put a little water-based lubricant on the bumps. This will make it just a little more comfortable to wear.
The Zara is very quiet, which is handy if you decide to use it in a restaurant or a movie theater. What is a shame is that the EasyConnect app has no ability to respond to sound. Then it would be really fun to wear it at a festival! The Lovense Lush does have such a sound mode.
The app itself is easy to use and is basically self-explanatory. It takes some fidgeting to connect the Zara, because it’s quite precise how long you have to press the button to get it into ‘connection’ mode. If you press the button too long, the Zara goes into a ‘transport’ mode. If you press it too short, it goes into manual mode. It’s a bit of fiddling every time you want to connect.
In the EasyConnect app, you can pair multiple toys from the same range of EasyToys. The toys show up in the app’s ‘nightstand’. Then you can choose one to play with. However, you can always control only one toy at a time.
Perhaps the best part of the app is the ‘free touch’ mode. By moving your fingers across the screen, you vary the vibration strength (horizontally) or patterns (vertically).
Giving someone else control, by the way, is also very easy. Both persons must have the app on their phone. The person with the toy can invite the other. If you are both connected to the Internet then the other person – wherever they are – can take control of your toy. What I personally really like is that you only relinquish control for one session. Once you leave the ‘long range play’ screen, the link no longer works.
Cleaning
As with any toy, it is recommended to clean it thoroughly before the first use and after each use. Fortunately, the Zara is waterproof, so it is and issue of rinsing under the tap with lukewarm water and some mild soap.
Conclusion
The Zara is a very nice panty vibrator with quite strong vibrations. It is very nice to take control out of your hands when you go to the cinema, for example, to a festival, a bar, or a club. Or just when you go for a walk in the dunes.
