EasyToys has a new line of products that you can control with an app on your smartphone. I tested the Leo and below you can read all about this vibrating penis ring. From the same series, I previously tested the EasyToys Ivy plug and the ZARA panty vibe from the same product range.
What is de EasyToys Leo?
The EasyToys Leo is a pink penis ring made of body-safe silicone. The ring is slightly stretchy and flexible.
You control the Leo with the ‘EasyConnect’ app, or with a button on the side of the bulge. The button or the app allows you to use 9 different vibration patterns. The app also allows you to freely vary patterns and vibration strengths on a ‘touchpad’ on your screen. You can also relinquish control by giving your phone to someone else, or by inviting someone to take control.
The app also has a ‘record function’. This allows you to record the patterns you use during a session for next time.

Unboxing
The Leo comes in a rectangular cardboard box with a magnetic closure. By loosening the magnetic clasp, you open the box like a booklet. You then see the Leo behind a little window. The cover contains the most important information about its functions. You can detach the window by removing a cardboard strip. Besides the Leo, the box also contains a USB charging cable and a manual. All in all, it is a very neat and professional presentation that feels good and exudes confidence.
The package says you have to charge the Leo with a magnetic cable, but that is not the case! You must insert the cable into the Leo in the designated hole.
Taking the Leo cockring for a test drive
I have a little bit of a love-hate relationship with penis rings. It is always difficult to find one that has the right diameter. The diameter has to squeeze enough to get a good and long-lasting erection. But if it’s too tight, it’s not comfortable.
When I use a penis ring, I always put a little bit of lubricant on it. In this case, I used water-based lubricant. This makes it easier to slip it on during use. Then I always put it on while the penis is still flaccid. Then when the penis gets stiff, the ring starts to pinch. I have an average sized penis and I found the Leo a bit tight, but not uncomfortable.
What I did find very unfortunate is that the vibrations of the EasyToys Leo are very mediocre. The vibrations are best described as slightly buzzing. I didn’t feel much of it myself and also my partner (cis-wife) found the vibrations insufficient to be stimulated properly.
When EasyToys asked me to test the Leo, the app was not yet officially available in the apps store so I used a beta test version. The app itself is easy to use and basically self-explanatory. Still, connecting the app to the Leo was not very easy. Somehow you have to press the button on the side just long enough to get it into ‘discoverable’ mode for your bluetooth. In fact, if you press the button too long, the Leo goes into a ‘transport’ mode. If you press it too short, it goes into manual mode. It’s a bit of fiddling every time you want to connect until it works.
In the EasyConnect app, you can pair multiple toys from EasyToys that support this feature. The toys come in a proverbial ‘nightstand’, from which you can choose one to play with. However, you can always control only one toy at a time. That’s a bit of a shame, especially if, for example, you use both the Ivy plug and the Leo Cockring from EasyToys at the same time.
Perhaps the best part of the app is the ‘free touch’ mode. In it, your screen is a large playing field. Moving your finger more to the right increases the vibration intensity. And as you slide your finger upward you get into a different pattern. So by moving from left to right and top to bottom, you get into different zones of patterns and strengths each time.
Giving someone else control, by the way, is very easy. Both persons must have the app on their phone. The person with the toy can invite the other. If you are both connected to the Internet then the other person – wherever they are – can take control of your toy. What I personally really like is that you only relinquish control for one session. Once you leave the ‘long range play’ screen, the link no longer works.
We – my partner and I – found the Leo disappointing, mainly because of its weak vibrations.
Cleaning
As with any toy, it is recommended to clean it thoroughly before the first use and after each use. Fortunately, the Leo is waterproof, so it is and issue of rinsing under the tap with lukewarm water and some mild soap. Easy! 😊
By the way, if you’re going to use the Leo yourself along with the app, make sure you have a damp cloth handy. Because when putting it on, you’ll want to use some lube too, and you don’t want the lube to get on your phone’s screen. So first connect the Leo to your phone’s bluetooth, then put on some lube and slide it on, then clean hands and only then grab your phone again. #justsaying
Conclusie
The Leo is a tight cock ring with light vibrations and therefore especially recommended for people who do not like very powerful vibrations. Because the Leo is tight, it causes you to cut off the blood circulation a bit, which will make your erection feel harder and last longer. Therefore, the toy is also recommended for penis owners who sometimes experience erection problems.
TIP: You can also put a penis ring around a couple of fingers and then use it during a massage or when you stimulate your partner by hand!
The PROS of the EasyToys Leo:
- Body-friendly material that does not attract dust
- Tight fit for hard erection that will last a long time
- Control with the app gives a lot of freedom and many options, such as taking control out of your hands
- Relatively quiet
- 2 year warranty
The CONS:
- Setting up a bluetooth connection to the smartphone is not intuitive
- Only one toy to use at a time with the app
- No storage pouch included (you could use the box for it)
- Weak vibrations
