Double masturbator: WTF or genius?

I often look with amazement at the developments in innovations of sex toys in the Far East. There they have sex toys in the shape of brains, masturbators with built-in hands, or in the shape of a toilet. Now I noticed a masturbator that you can use two at a time. And while it will cause a WTF moment for many men, on second thought it may be particularly genius?!

Masturbators are for persons with a penis

Remarkably, most sex toys are designed for persons with a vulva. There is a backlog when it comes to the use of sex toys by persons with a penis. A few years ago, so-called masturbator sleeves emerged; these are sex toys ‘with a hole in it’. Usually, these toys try to match the anatomy of a woman in the form of artificial pussies, artificial mouths, or artificial butts. These masturbators are thus primarily aimed at self-gratification. Only rarely do couples use these masturbators together.

For gay men, this female anatomy is less appealing. For them, masturbators have come with a somewhat more anatomy-neutral look. Now – a decade after the introduction of the first masturbators – little has changed. Of course, there are quite a few sex toys that cater to the hard-core gay market, but those are often anal toys, such as buttplugs. Masturbators still remain primarily aimed at heterosexual men.

Why have a double dildo, but not a double masturbator?

Double dildos have been sold for decades. These are extra-long dildos – often with a realistic design – that can be used by two people with a vulva. Not before has a sex toy manufacturer come up with the idea of making a double masturbator.

Until now.

Ligre Japan has developed the Feel Join Double Masturbator. With it, two penises can be stimulated simultaneously. The device looks very simple (and it is) but that doesn’t make this unique thing any less effective. Because the two entrances are different, they can also be used by one person. On one side the entrance is soft and on the other side it is a bit firmer.

But the company also targets gay couples, who use this toy to enjoy together. Compared to the double dildo, two penis owners can hold this toy between them and penetrate them on either side. The penises – if they are long enough – meet in the middle.

In the ad for this toy, there is an image of two unicorns rubbing their horns together. And that’s kind of what Ligre wants to convey what this toy is for.

A little search in the Netherlands did not yield me a comparable toy. The Japanese are ahead of us in this liberal thinking. To me it seems like a gap in the market (no pun intended).
