The Autoblow 2+ is the improved version of the successor of the Autoblow. The original one was developed after crowdfunding. The developers raised as much as 622% of their requested goal. That must have been some kind of an omen that apparently many men have the need for a sex toy that can mimic a perfect blowjob. But does this device deliver? EasyToys was so kind to send me one, for an honest review in return.
What is the Autoblow 2+?
Many men (or should I use the gender neutral ‘person with a penis’?) enjoy to be pampered by oral sex. Unfortunately, a willing and serving mouth is not always available. Enter Autoblow 2+.
The Autoblow 2+ is a device that basically consists of a huge shaft with an engine and a so called ‘sleeve’. In the shaft are three rings with beads around them. The engine makes the rings go up and down. The sleeve goes into the shaft. You have to put your penis in the sleeve and switch on the device. The rings with the beads will now move around the sleeve and that should match the feeling of a proper blowjob.
Unboxing
The Autoblow 2+ is delivered in a large box, that contains the necessary curious making information. Inside of the box is the Autoblow 2+ machine and (in my case) a sleeve size B. Further more there is an adapter with about 3 meters of cord, a user manual and a mysterious little rod.
The Autoblow 2+ weighs nearly 1.5 kilo (1,466 gram) and has the measurements of a huge thermos (24 cm long and 14 cm in diameter).
Before you can actually use the Autoblow you have to of course remove the packaging material and two protective rings. The Autoblow 2+ is not battery operated. In order to use it, you’d have to plug in the cable on the bottom side of the device. You switch the Autoblow 2+ with the wheel at the bottom and that wheel enables you to change speed continuously.
The ‘sleeve’ is made of extremely soft ‘artificial skin’. This is a polymer existing of a mixture of silicone with other materials, which makes it feel like real skin. The material is phtalates free, but it is porous. It is recommended to clean it well after use, to prevent creation of bacteria. There are three different sizes available: A (for man with smaller penises, with a girth of 7 to 10 cm), B (for ‘normal’ hung, with a girth of 10 to 14 cm) and C (for well hung men, with a girth of 14 to 16 cm). I tested the Autoblow 2+ with sleeve B (good guess, Easytoys madam!).
The ‘test drive’
My first impression was kinda mixed. Because, well, my god, this thing is huge. And that noise!? On the other hand, the sleeve felt very nice, at least to my fingers, so that promises a lot.
Before you can actually use the Autoblow 2+, it is wise to apply some water based lube on the tip of your penis. Also, your penis should be at least a little erect. Monkey see, monkey do…
The opening of the Autoblow 2+ has the shape of a mouth. It is not a clear woman’s or man’s mouth, so that is completely up to you. For me, it could have been just an opening, without any physical characteristics.
Inserting the penis was fairly easy. The sleeve felt very soft and nice. Once you place the Autoblow 2+ on your penis, it is upside down, and the bottom is facing up. This makes it very easy to operate the wheel. The lowest position felt really good. You can adjust the speed to your liking. Personally, I found the highest speed not uncomfortable, but just not as pleasant as the lower positions.
The package talks about a ‘hands free experience’, but that has to be taken with a grain of salt. The thing weighs one and a half kilo, so you better keep it in its position with at least one hand, otherwise it will fall over. Believe me, you wouldn’t want that.
After using it, it is very simple to clean the sleeve. Just turn it inside out and wash it under running water. You might want to apply some soft hand soap. Then let it dry inside out. Keep the sleeve in a plastic bag, because I noticed that the type of silicone that is used does attract dust. You can reuse the sleeve several times. There are different sleeves available.
Conclusion
It took me little effort to achieve an orgasm with the Autoblow 2+. Did it mimic a blowjob? No, it didn’t. Was it good? Yes. Was it explosive? Meh. So why am I not really enthusiastic then?
First of all, the noise that the Autoblow 2+ produces is extremely loud. I tried to muffle it by putting it under the blankets, but that didn’t quite help. The sound distracted the hell out of the feeling. You can’t exactly call the Autoblow 2+ a discreet device.
Further more I was disappointed that you can adjust the speed, but not the ‘grip’. Especially at the end (and with ‘the end’ I mean just before I reached the edge), I would have preferred a tighter grip.
Still, it was a pleasant experience and I did get an orgasm without any further stimulation (not even a porno).
The pros of the Autoblow 2+:
- Nice and soft material of the sleeve
- Simple to operate
- Continuous speed variation
- Works on the mains, so no charging time and never a weak battery
- 3 meters of cord should do the trick
- Sleeves available in different sizes
- Easy to clean
The cons:
- Makes a lot of noise. Really a lot
- Very big and heavy machine
- The grip is not adjustable
- The silicone attracts dust. Put it away in a plastic bag
- The Autoblow 2+ is not waterproof. You can’t use it under the shower or in the bath tub
- Works on the mains, so you can only use it when in close proximity of a power socket
- The Autoblow 2+ is not exactly cheap…
In short: The Autoblow 2+ is a nice masturbator that gives a pleasant massage with the internal rings, but due to the hefty noise it is just not very discreet.
Oh yes, I asked at Easytoys. That mysterious rod is meant to push back the sleeve after cleansing. And you can place the rod in the sleeve when you store it, so the material doesn’t stick.
