Elon Musk, the man behind car brand Tesla, is taking technological developments one step further. After space travel and colonizing the planet Mars, he now seems to be getting into implantable chips. His goal is to have an implant ready by the end of 2022, which will bring a whole new revolutionary sexual experience to us humans.
The vibrator of the future
Traveling to Mars is a dream that Musk may not be able to realize in the very near future. Implanting a chip in a human’s brain and linking it to artificial intelligence seems to have more potential to change humanity.
Neuralink Neuralink is a brain-to-computer interface. This interface will make it easier to operate an artificial arm for example, or perhaps someday even an entire exoskeleton. Ultimately, this technology could completely change the way we communicate, learn and have sex.
For example, such an implant could be used to stimulate the pleasure centers of our brain, without the need for drugs or alcohol. Musk is not the first to try that, by the way, this idea is not new. In 2001, Dr. Stuart Meloy also experimented with implanted electrodes. He did this initially to combat pain, but the woman he used it on experienced an overwhelming orgasm as a result. However, the technology was never further developed because Meloy simply did not have the money to do the necessary testing. And money … that’s something Musk has no shortage of.
Neuralink
Musk’s prediction is that artificial intelligence will have reached the point where computers will be smarter than humans within five years. The idea behind Neuralink, is that the brain-to-computer interface can be used to control brains from a computer.
By using this Neurlink interface, you can stimulate, through the computer, those areas of the brain that cause sexual arousal and orgasms. For example, you could relive your partner’s orgasm by mimicking the same stimulation in your brain. In this way, a kind of mind-controlled teledildonics is created.
Initially, Musk hoped to be able to implant a chip as early as 2020. But he has revised this prediction to the end of 2022. However, Neurlink did give a demonstration of the technology in Pig Gertrude as early as 2020.
And in April 2021, Musk released a video showing a monkey playing a video game with Neuralink.
To make the leap to human test subjects within two years of introduction is ambitious, to say the least. But as recently as last December, Musk said that many tests are being done to determine how the chip can be applied and removed safely.
Still, it remains to be seen whether people will be willing to take an implant to use it to operate a computer (game) or to have a better sex life.
